In der älteren, DE-Patentanmeldung P 41 38 800.3 (veröffentlicht am 27.05.93) ist im Zusammenhang mit einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung zur Vermeidung von umreifungsmittelbedingten Betriebsunterbrechungen an Maschinen zum Umreifen von Packstücken ein automatischer, sogenannter "fliegender Umreifungsmittelwechsel" vorgesehen, derart, daß an der Maschine zwei jeweils aus einem Umreifungsmittelwickel mit Wickelkern bestehende Umreifungsmittelvorräte bereitgehalten sind. Während das Umreifungsmittel von dem einen Umreifungsmittelwickel abgezogen und von der Maschine verarbeitet wird, befindet sich der zweite Um-reifungsmittelvorrat in Warteposition. Damit beim Aufbrauch des gegenwärtig verarbeiteten Umreifungsmittels automatisch Umreifungsmittel vom wartenden Umreifungsmittelvorrat verarbeitet werden kann, sind den Wickelkernen der Umreifungsmittelwickel jeweils eine mittels Fotozellen abgetastete Reflektionsfläche zugeordnet. Leert sich nun der eine Umreifungsmittelwickel, ändert sich bezüglich der ihm zugeordneten Fotozelle das Reflektionsverhalten, sobald deren Strahl auf die Reflektionsfläche trifft. Die CH-PS 666 471 beschreibt die Auswertung einer nur noch aus wenigen Garnlagen bestehenden Bewicklung mittels eines Reflexionssignals, welches offenbar die durchscheinend gewordenen Garnlagen durchdringt. Das Ergebnis einer solchen Überwachung des Bewicklungszustands der Garnspule ist stark von der transluzenten Eigenschaft des Wickels abhängig, also sowohl vom Material des Garns als auch von dem garnspezifischen Spulen-Bewicklungszustand. Diese Faktoren führen dazu, daß die Signale sehr unterschiedliche Meldungen erzeugen. Abgesehen vom Kostenaspekt ist letzter Vorteil vor allem auch wegen eventueller Recyclingprobleme von besonderer Bedeutung. Claims (2)
