BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a winding tube for winding yarn with a device for generating a reflection signal in the case of a winding consisting of only a few layers of yarn, this device having a reflective layer.
Known winding cores in practice have a sleeve made of reflective material, for example lacquer or a reflective tape, near one end.
The wound bobbins are used in weaving machines, similar to the bobbins in the weaving boats, for inserting the weft thread. Her winding state is continuously checked by scanning with a light beam and its reflection. The yarn winding has a different reflection beam intensity than the reflection layer of the bobbin, which is only wrapped with individual threads.
By winding the yarn, but especially the high thread tension in plastic yarns, the reflective layer is damaged so much that it has to be replaced after a few wraps. This labor-intensive process is not only disruptive to the operational process, but also expensive and the work is often carried out improperly by auxiliary personnel.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a winding tube which has a reflective layer which is protected against the damage caused by the tight wrapping, enables a very large number of wrappings, yet can be easily and subsequently installed and reliably delivers the required signals.
This object is achieved by the characterizing part of claim 1.
In addition, the pressure relief band having openings can be designed as an at least single slotted tab. The openings can be designed as helical slots with a pitch angle that allows at least a simple overlap of the slot ends of opposite rows of slot ends of two or more adjacent slots. It is also possible to arrange the pressure relief band flush with the winding tube jacket, or to glue it onto the winding tube.
This pressure relief tape offers the advantage that the reflective tape is protected from mechanical damage by the tightly wound, often very thin yarn and is still fully functional. This avoids the expensive and necessary renewal of the reflection band at short intervals.
In addition, the operational reliability of the coil monitoring is significantly increased because the signals fluctuate less. It is also possible to retrofit existing bobbins with simple means.
Further advantages and details of the invention result from the description of an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing.
In this shows the
Fig. A bobbin with attached pressure relief band over the reflection band.
In the region of its one end, the winding tube 1 has a recess 2 in which a reflection band 3, which is somewhat narrower than this recess, is inserted. A pressure relief band 4, preferably in the width of the recess 2, is placed over this reflection band 3 and, likewise preferably, glued to the winding tube 1. The pressure relief band 4 has helical slots 5 that run obliquely to the axis of the winding tube 1. Their pitch angle and their width is selected such that a right end of a slot 5 and a left end of an at least adjacent slot 5 lie on the same surface line of the winding tube 1.
The webs 6 of the pressure relief band 4 and its thickness are to be selected such that, on the one hand, damage to the reflection band 3 by the tightly wound yarn is avoided and, on the other hand, operational reliability is ensured for the essentially generatrix-shaped scanning by the light beam. The length of the slits 5 must be selected so that a useful scanning signal is certainly obtained when the yarn is wound with a few layers. Instead of the slots, openings of a different shape can also be selected, which lead to a usable and clearly identifiable scanning signal. A braid or a network could also be used instead of the pressure relief band 4. This braid can also be a ribbon braid.
