  • Such contact-free dryers suitable for the purpose are, for example, convection dryers, infrared dryers and/or air dryers, such as hot-air blow dryers.
  • Such contact-free web W' dryers 36,37 are advantageous and necessary especially when large coating quantities are run into the web W' by means of the size press 10.

  • the rolls 12,16 can be provided with identical coatings, in which case an equally high number of spare rolls are not needed as were needed in the prior art.
  • Replacement of the rolls 12,16 can also be carried out in a simple way in a size press 10 in accordance with the invention. As can be seen in particular from Figs. 1, 4 and 5, by pivoting the loading arm 19, the rolls 12,16 can be brought into such a roll replacement position in which the lower roll 12 can also be replaced readily even if the upper roll 16 were in its position.
  • the nip N is preferably constructed so that it is opened in two stages, so that, by means of the loading arm 19 and the loading cylinders 22, the upper roll 16 can be pivoted first into a normal tail threading position, in which the tail threading of the web W can be carried out very easily and simply because of the substantially straight web line. After the catches of the tail threading position (not shown) have been opened, the nip N can be opened to the roll replacement position.

Claims (7)

  1. Leimpresse mit einer ersten Walze (12), welche fest an den Rahmen (11) der Leimpresse montiert ist, sowie einer zweiten Walze (16), die mit der ersten Walze einen Leimpressenspalt (N) bildet und die auf einem Niveau, das höher als das Niveau der ersten Walze (12) ist, an einen Ladearm (19) montiert ist, der an einer Querwelle (20) an dem Rahmen (11) der Leimpresse schwenkbar abgestützt ist, wobei die, den Leimpressenspalt (N) bildenden Walzen (12, 16) mit Streichvorrichtungen (15, 21) der Bauart kurzer Verweilzeit versehen sind, um Streichmittelfilme auf die Flächen der Walzen (14, 18) zu verteilen, und für den Transfer des Streichmittels von den Walzenflächen auf die durch den Spalt gehende Papierbahn (W) oder dergleichen vorgesehen sind, wobei der Ladearm (19) mit Hilfe von Ladezylindern (22) schwenkbar ist, um in dem Spalt (N) die angestrebte Druckhöhe zu erzeugen und um den Spalt für das Aufführen der Bahn (W) und für den Walzenaustausch zu öffnen, wobei die Papierbahn (W) oder dergleichen, geleitet mittels einer Leitwalze (23), in den Spalt (N) eingeleitet und aus dem Spalt (N) über eine Verteilerwalze (25, 35) oder eine Luftablentvorrichtung (38, 38a, 38b, 38c, 38d) herausgeleitet wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die den Leimpressenspalt (N) bildenden Walzen (12, 16) in Bezug zueinander auf derartige Weise eingerichtet worden sind, daß die durch die Walzen gehende Spaltebene (T-T) in Bezug auf die horizontale Ebene (S) einen Winkel (α) von 35° bis 120°, vorzugsweise 50° bis 60°, bildet und daß die Leitwalze (23) und die Verteilerwalze (25, 35) oder die Luftablenkvorrichtung (38, 38a, 38b, 38c, 38d) 0 derart eingerichtet worden ist, daß die Bahn (W) in einem Winkel (β1) von im wesentlichen 90° in Bezug auf die Spaltebene (T-T) in den Spalt (N) einzuleiten ist und in einem, in Bezug auf die Spaltebene (T-T) uber und unter 90° einstellbaren Auslaßwinkel (β2) aus dem Spalt (N) herauszuleiten ist.
  2. Leimpresse gemäß Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einstelltoleranz des Auslaßwinkels (β2) der Bahnlinie ± 7° beträgt.
  3. Leimpresse gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Patentansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in Hinblick auf das Einstellen des Auslaßwinkels (β2) der Bahnlinie die Verteilerwalze (25, 35) oder die Luftablenkvarrichtung (38a) derart eingerichtet worden ist, daß sie in der Vertikalrichtung einstellbar ist.
  4. Leimpresse gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Patentansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in dem Weg der von dem Leimpressenspalt (N) heraus kommenden Bahn (W') nach der verteilerwalze (25, 35) oder der Luftablenkvorrichtung (38a, 38b), vor dem ersten Trockenzylinder (26) in der Trocknerpartie, kontaktfreie Trockner (36, 37) für die Bahn (W') angebracht sind, wie etwa Konvektionstrockner, Infrarottrockner oder Heißluftgebläsetrockner.
  5. Leimpresse gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Patentansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Winkel (α) der Spaltebene (T-T) in Bezug auf die horizontale Ebene (S) 55° beträgt.
  6. Leimpresse gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Patentansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Leitwalze (23), über welche die Bahn (W) in den Spalt (N) geleitet wird, separat von dem Leimpressenrahmen (11) ortsfest an einen Rahmen (24) montiert worden ist.
  7. Leimpresse gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Patentansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die, den Leimpressenspalt (N) bildenden Walzen (12, 16) mit einer Beschichtung versehen sind, die an beiden Walzen von im wesentlichen gleicher Härte ist.
