Als derartige Lichtschutzbekleidung kommen zahlreiche verschiedenartige Kleidungsstücke in Betracht, beispielsweise T-Shirts, Leggings, Radlerhosen und Capri-Hosen. Figur 3 zeigt in einer Ausschnittvergrößerung diesen Stoff 10, bei dem es sich um ein Gewirke 11 mit einer Bedruckung 12 handelt.
In Figur 3 ist im Bereich hellfarbener Bedruckung die Stuktur des Gewirkes 11 zu erkennen, da der Stoff 10 vor dunklem Hintergrund dargestellt ist. Es handelt sich um ein tüllartiges Gewirke 11, das aus einem zweifädigen Garn 13 hergestellt ist und eine Vielzahl von einander eng benachbarten Maschenöffnungen 14 aufweist. Bei der Darstellung in Figur 3 steht der Stoff 10 dem Tragezustand entsprechend unter leichten Zugspannungen, wodurch die Maschenöffnungen 14 zum Teil unterschiedlich weit geöffnet sind und die Maschenöffnungsreihen nicht überall deutlich hervortreten. Es ist jedoch zu erkennen, daß die Maschenöffnungen 14 eine sechseckform aufweisen und jeweils in drei zueinander winkelversetzten Maschenöffnungsreihen angeordnet sind.

Gut zu erkennen ist, daß jede Maschenöffnung 14 drei Maschenöffnungsreihen 15, 16 und 17 angehört, die sich in drei zueinander winkelversetzten Richtungen a, b, c erstrecken. Dabei weisen benachbarte Maschenöffnungen 14 einer Reihe jeweils eine gemeinsame vom Garn 13 gebildete schmale Kantenbegrenzung auf.This state of affairs is shown more clearly in FIG. Claims (11)

  1. A material transmitting sunlight, especially for bathing wear (1, 5) or light-protective clothing, consisting of a net-like knitted fabric (11; 18) with polyamide fibres, having mesh openings (14; 19, 20) of at least 0.2 mm clear width, which is printed and cannot be seen through when put on the skin, characterized in that the knitted fabric (11; 18) has a polyurethane elastomer in addition to the polyamide fibres, is made with a clear mesh opening width between 0.2 and 1.0 mm, is printed with contrasting bright colours (25 to 30) and has a honeycomb-like structure with rows of mesh openings (15, 16, 17; 21 to 24) which extend in at least three angularly offset directions (a, b, c; d, e, f, g).
  2. A material transmitting sunlight according to claim 1, characterized in that the mesh openings (14) are substantially hexagonal and arranged in rows (15, 16, 17) of mesh openings which extend in three angularly offset directions (a, b, c).
  3. A material transmitting sunlight according to claim 2, characterized in that all mesh openings (14) have substantially the same shape and size.
  4. A material transmitting sunlight according to claim 1, characterized in that the mesh openings (19, 20) are arranged in rows (21 to 24) of mesh openings extending in four directions (d, e, f, g) offset from one another.
  5. A material transmitting sunlight according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the knitted fabric (11; 18) consists of nylon and elastane (Lycra).
  6. A material transmitting sunlight according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the knitted fabric (11; 18) is composed of 60% to 80% polyamide fibres and 20% to 40% polyurethane elastomer.
  7. A material transmitting sunlight according to claim 6, characterized in that approximately 73% polyamide fibres and approximately 27% polyurethane elastomer are provided.
  8. A material transmitting sunlight according to any of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the knitted fabric (11; 18) has a mass per unit area of 120 to 200, preferably about 160 g per m².
  9. A material transmitting sunlight according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the clear mesh opening width amounts to about 0.5 mm.
  10. Bathing wear, especially a bathing suit (1), a bikini (5) or bathing trunks, characterized in that it is made from a material transmitting sunlight (10) according to any of claims 1 to 9.
  11. Light-protective clothing, especially a T-shirt, leggings, cycling trousers, or Capri trousers, characterized in that it is made from a material transmitting sunlight (10) according to any of claims 1 to 9.
