Abstract

Eine vorteilhafte Ausführungsform des Dichtelements gemäß der Erfindung ist gekennzeichnet durch eine zylindrische Ausbildung, so daß das Dichtelement von der Prüfluft parallel zur Längsachse und quer dazu durchströmt ist. Gemäß einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung ist eine Umlenkfläche zum Umlenken der axial strömenden Prüfluft in eine Strömung mit radialer Komponente vorgesehen. In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung kann die Strömung mit radialer Komponente im Dichtelement von innen nach außen gerichtet sein. Hiergegen ist eine Fläche 13 zum Umlenken des Luftstroms 14 der Prüfluft vorgesehen, die der Strömung der Luft eine radiale Komponente 14a nach außen verleiht. Nach dem Umströmen der Umlenkfläche 13 fließt die Strömung 14b der Luft mit einer radialen Komponente 14b nach innen und zu dem Durchlaß 8, von dem aus sie in die Zigarette 2 gelangt.
Durch die Luftführung gemaß der Erfindung werden Tabakkrümel, die sich ohne die Erfindung in Eckenbereichen zu störenden Mengen aufbauen könnten, stets mitgerissen. Dieser Effekt wird durch Wirbelbildungen der Luft noch verstärkt, wodurch die Gefahr von Verstopfungen vermindert wird.
