Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sheet support device for bridging a page mark recess, which extends transversely to the sheet conveying direction over the width of the feed table, depending on the format in a maximum and a minimum position, of a rotary printing press. It can be used when processing paper, cardboard or sheet metal.
Such a bow support device is known from DE-AS 1 611 362 as a "scissor lattice table". In the sheet conveying direction, corrugated, vertically high ridges and supporting the supplied sheet of spring strips are arranged as length-adjustable table surfaces within the side mark recess.
Another device is known from EP 0 268 693 B1. A plurality of displaceable receiving elements are arranged in the gap area transversely to the sheet conveying direction. The receiving elements, which act as leaf springs and are guided on rods, have leg regions and V-shaped or U-shaped connecting regions which are arranged in an upright position in the plane of the table surface. They are pre-tensioned and can be compressed when the side mark recess is reduced and they adjust themselves when the recess is enlarged.
It is disadvantageous that the change in length within the gap (setting to sheet format) is always accompanied by a change in size (change in length in width) of the spring bands in the conveying direction. This leads to "defects" with regard to sheet transport, especially when the substrate is thin or high Machine speeds no safe support of the arch is guaranteed. Furthermore, it is disadvantageous that, due to the geometry of the spring construction, in the case of improperly cut or deformed printing material edges, faults occur in the sheet run, since, for example, the sheet edge gets caught in the spring bands.
The cover device according to DE 4 105 966 C1 now tries to eliminate these disadvantages. In the recess of the feed table, spring-supported cover webs are arranged so that they can move vertically to the table surface. A sliding block acts on the cover webs from above and presses them into the recess against the spring force.
Although this solution improves the sheet guidance in that the cover webs do not change size, it is very complex. Dust and dirt cannot be removed and can therefore collect between the cover bars. Since these cover webs completely cover the side mark recess, no additional means for guiding or aligning the sheet (e.g. pneumatic device) can be guided to the sheet in this area.
From JP-A-03 096 351 a sheet guiding device with guide plates is known which are connected to one another with welded spring steel elements. The guide plates are therefore not individually interchangeable.
The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages known from the abovementioned prior art. This is solved by the features of the characterizing part of the main claim. Further training results from the subclaims.
The solution according to the invention ensures reliable guidance of the printing material by the guide bridges lying parallel to the conveying direction, since no spring elements come into contact with the printing material. Dust and dirt can be removed and additional means for guiding the bend can be introduced into the recess, since the guide bridges can be quickly replaced with and without a spring element. Changes in size in the conveying direction are excluded, so that malfunctions when dirty cut or damaged edges of the substrate can be avoided. The spiral springs are pre-tensioned so that they can be compressed for setting to small substrate sizes (minimum distance) and automatically adjust themselves to the maximum distance for setting to larger formats. The guide bridges always remain parallel to the conveying direction and are always in the plane of the feed table.

The sheet support device is formed in a
The
The exemplary embodiment described can be further developed by arranging elastic
A further embodiment is achieved in that
