Abstract

A method of manufacturing a web of fibers, especially a web of paper. The pulp is uniformly distributed through an outlet over the width of the machine and along a wire or between two wires. Unter Papierzusammensetzung ist die Konzentration der einzelnen Bestandteile wie z.B. Bei Ventilen der üblichen Bauart läßt es sich jedoch nur schwer vermeiden, daß auch der den Mischer verlassende Sektionsstrom QM vom Sollwert unkontrolliert und ungewollt abweicht. Es ist außerdem aus DE-OS 35 38 466 bekannt, daß eine Veränderung des Volumenstromes einer Sektion zu einer Beeinflussung des Faserorientierungswinkels im Auslaufbereich des Stoffauflaufes führt. Durch eine örtliche Spaltverengung wird nämlich den Fasern an den Engstellen eine andere Strömungsrichtung erteilt, als an anderen Stellen des Auslaufspaltes. Die Erfinder haben erkannt, daß unterschiedliche Retention ein ungleichmäßiges Flächengewichtsquerprofil der Faserbahn einer Papiermaschine bewirkt, des weiteren kann durch Zugabe einer Flüssigkeit mit gegenüber dem Hauptstrom abweichender Beschaffenheit, z.B. Stoff mit hohem Langfaseranteil im Randbereich der Papierbahn oder mit hohem Ascheanteil das Zusammensetzungsquerprofil in einer für die Produktion günstigen Richtung beeinflußt werden. Dem Stande der Technik entsprechend wird dieses ungleichmäßige Flächengewichtsquerprofil durch Blendenverformung oder durch sektionale Stoffdichteänderungen beeinflußt mit der Absicht ein möglichst ideales Flächengewichtsquerprofil zu erhalten. Bei der nachfolgenden Entwässerung kommt es jedoch dazu, daß in Abhängigkeit von der Retention durch die Maschen des Siebes bevorzugt kurze Fasern und Asche mit dem Siebwasser hindurchfallen, d.h., daß auch bei erfolgreicher Flächengewichtsquerprofilkorrektur ein nicht ideales, weil nicht gleichmäßiges Papierzusammensetzungsquerprofil entsteht. Es wird daher vorgeschlagen, die Retention durch sektionale Zugabe eines Retentionsmittels in ihren Abweichungen zum Mittelwert zu begrenzen, um an den Stellen extremer Retentionsabweichungen die Papiereigenschaften nicht so stark zu verändern.The inventors have recognized that different retention causes an uneven basis weight cross profile of the fibrous web of a paper machine, furthermore by adding a liquid to the main stream deviating properties, e.g. fabric with a high proportion of long fibers in the edge area of the paper web or with a high proportion of ash, the composition cross profile can be influenced in a direction that is favorable for production. Claims (1)

  1. Method for the manifacture of a fiber web, particulary of a paper web, comprising the following steps:
    1.1 The fiber suspension is uniformly distributed over the width of the machine onto a wire respectively between two wires;
    1.2 The main portion of the water is drained from the fiber suspension laid onto the wire respectively between the wires;
    characterized by the following step:
    1.3 A sectionally different amount of retention agents is added to the fiber suspension in order to sectionally controll the degree of retention.
