Abstract

The invention concerns a revolving door suitable for use in escape routes. The door wings (3, 4) are fixed by means of a locking mechanism (7) between two turnstiles (2) which are not connected to a central pillar. The turnstiles (2) are mounted for rotation and thus permit normal operation of the door powered either by a motor or by hand. If the force exerted on the door wings (3, 4) exceeds the normal force, the locking mechanism (7) is retracted and the door wings (3, 4) can be pushed to the side. The force necessary for retraction of the locking mechanism is adjustable.

Description

Titel: KarusselltürTitle: revolving door
Beschreibungdescription
The invention relates to a revolving door as it is used in passenger transport. These types of revolving doors are either driven by a motor or are set into a rotary movement by manual actuation. The purpose of these revolving doors is to ensure that a building is correctly closed between the outside and the inside area. These types of revolving doors ensure that the warm inside air of a building is separated from the cold outside air outside the building and still allow people to enter this building virtually unhindered. Because of their geometric conditions and dimensions, only a certain number of people can enter and leave the building at the same time. However, if revolving doors are also to be used in the area where they serve as escape and rescue route doors, it must be ensured that the people in the building can leave this building immediately in the event of an emergency. In such a case the wings of the revolving door would present themselves as an obstacle, i.e. the wings must be foldable.
A revolving door is known from US Pat. No. 1,030,266, in which the wings can be folded away via a folding mechanism. The door leaves of the revolving door have been attached to a load-bearing center column. Around the door leaf there is a kind of frame, which normally takes part in the rotational movement of the door with the door leaf. In the upper outer area, however, there is a locking device which enables it to be pressed against the door leaf from its basic position with which it is fixed frame connected to the column, to be brought out and thus pivoted away. With this procedure, the door can also be used in escape and rescue routes because the door leaf can be swiveled away. The disadvantage, however, is that a central column must be used in terms of design, on which the door leaf and the one above it Frames are attached. This additional frame narrows the escape route or makes this type of revolving door more expensive.
Eine zusätzliche Forde¬ rung besteht darin, daß auch die Flügel im eingebauten Zustand der Tür ι o leicht ausgewechselt werden könneaThe object of the invention is to provide a revolving door which is inexpensive and yet can be used in the area of escape and rescue routes. It must be ensured that there are no additional crushing and shearing points when the wings are folded away. In addition, the force required to push the wing out of its basic position should be adjustable. An additional requirement is that the leaves can also be easily replaced when the door is installed
Der Arretierungsmechanismus besteht aus einem Arre-The object of the invention is achieved in that a revolving door is created without a supporting center column, which is constructed by two turnstiles, one on the floor and one on the ceiling. Der Arretierungsstift ist starr und wird mit dem20 locating pin, in which locking marks are present, into which at least one bolt can engage, which is acted upon by a spring force. The spring force thus presses this bolt securely into the locking marks. This spring force can be continuously adjusted using an adjusting screw located behind. The locking pin is rigid and is with the

At the end of the door wings, which point to the center, the door wings have brush seals, which ensure that this central area is covered and also a safety distance from the

If an additional force is applied to the door leaf in the event of panic, which must be greater than the normal force in order to bring the door leaf into rotation around the center pillar when it is not driven by a motor, the door leaf is moved out of its locking position and thus out the basic brought out The bolt of the locking unit moves out of the locking marks and thus clears the escape and rescue route by the door leaf being able to be folded away on both sides. The swung away door leaf then lies against one of the fixed or 5 hinged door leaves. If this function is no longer required, the door leaf can be brought back into the locking marks of the locking pin by applying slight force, and it will thus be returned to its basic position.
The invention will be explained in more detail with the aid of a possible exemplary embodiment shown schematically:

Das Dreh¬ kreuz (2) ist über den Drehpunkt (1) um diese Achse drehgelagert im BodenFIG. 1 shows a partial section of the lower area of a revolving door with the turnstile located under the door leaves. The turnstile (2) is pivoted about this axis in the ground via the pivot point (1)
Diese Drehkreuzarme haben, wie die20 (8) attached to the turnstile (2) are the door leaves (3), (4), (5) and (6) either directly via the connection (31) or via the locking mechanism (7) with the turnstile (2) connected. The turnstile has turnstile arms (13), (14), (15) and (16) corresponding to the number of door leaves that are used. These turnstile arms have, like that
Hier im oberen Bereich25 Figure 3 shows, in its end region, internal threads (33), (34), (35) and (36) into which the door leaves either directly or through the screw elements (17), (18), (19), (20) be screwed over the locking mechanism (7). A similar turnstile, as shown in Figure 1, is also at the opposite end, i.e. on the ceiling. Here in the upper area
30 ist das nicht dargestellte Drehkreuz (2) ebenfalls drehgelagert mit dem An¬ trieb verbunden, und kann somit entweder über Arretierungsmechanismen (7) oder aber auch direkt, wenn der Türflügel nicht schwenkbar sein soll, mit dem Drehkreuz (2) verbunden werden.30, the turnstile (2), which is not shown, is also connected to the drive in a rotationally mounted manner and can therefore either be via locking mechanisms (7) or directly if the door leaf should not be pivotable, be connected to the turnstile (2).
The locking mechanism (7) is concealed in the lower transverse spar or in the upper transverse spar of the door leaves (3), (4), (5) or (6). Via the attachment (37) it is pre-assembled with the door leaf in a positive and non-positive manner. Due to this pre-assembly, it is now possible to subsequently attach the door leaves (3), (4), (5) or (6) to the turnstile ( 2) to be connected to the turnstile (2) via the screw elements (17), (18), (19) or (20). This allows a door door that may be damaged to be removed quickly. The locking mechanism (7) is designed so that its locking pin (27) is simultaneously connected as a fixed attachment to the turnstile (2) via the connection (17), (18), (19) or (20).
Here it is clear that the locking marks (28) and (29), which are recessed in the locking pin (27), make it possible for the bolt (25), the has the same shape on its front area as the locking marks (28) and (29), can engage in them. It has proven to be very useful here that the locking marks (28), (29) are wedge-shaped, into which the wedge-shaped bolt (25), which has an additional rounding on the tip for better engagement, can thus be securely inserted . The bolt (25) is slidably mounted in a bore and has a stop (38) in its rear area which comes to rest against the end of a blind bore (39) when the bolt (25) is in the extended state The blind bore (39) lies transversely in the locking mechanism (7). In this blind bore (39) there is also a compression spring (26), which presses against the stop (38) of the bolt (25) on the one hand and against the adjusting screw (40) on the other hand. The spring force (26 ) can be set continuously. The result of this is that the disengagement force of the door leaf (3), (4), (5) or (6) can thus be adjusted from the basic position. With this measure, it is possible to individually adapt the door to the given operating conditions. In Figure 1, a locking mechanism (7) is shown such that both the bolt (25) is within the locking mark (29) and the bolt (41) is not within a locking mark. This bolt
Diese Festsetzung kann aufgrund der kontinuierlich einstellbaren Federkraft der Druckfeder(41) has compressed the compression spring (42) and is therefore only pressed against the outer contours of the locking pin (27). In this embodiment, the locking marks (28), (29) are not diametrically opposed to each other but are, for example, only offset by an angle of 90 ° . With this embodiment it is possible to also fix the sash in the pivoted-away state. This setting can be due to the continuously adjustable spring force of the compression spring
However, it is also possible, as is not shown in embodiment 1, that the bolt (41) also snaps into the locking mark (28) corresponding to the bolt (25) and the locking mark (29)
In order to cover the intermediate space (21), which is inevitably located between the turnstile (2) and the floor (8), there are brush seals (22) and (43) on the turnstile.
BezugszeichenSince this type of construction of the revolving door is carried out without a load-bearing center column, the inner area (44), which results within the door wings (3), (4), (5) and (6), which face each other at the front, is covered by brush seals ( 32) We sealed :; Now if the door leaf (4) pivots out of its basic position either in the direction (23) or (24), the brush seals (32) secure the user in such a way that between the door leaves remaining in their basic position with their fixed glass panes ( 30) there is no crushing and shearing point. The idea according to the invention thus represents an inexpensive, safe type of construction in which it is possible for the door leaves to be folded away without a supporting center column ) to be adjusted continuously on the object or to replace a door leaf.
