Claims (6)

  1. Vorrichtung zum Abscheiden schwerer Partikel aus einem Strom mit darin schwebendem Fasermaterial bei der Herstellung von Faserplatten nach der Trockenmethode, umfassend eine vertikale zylindrische Kammer (10) mit einem Einlaß (11) für eingeführtes Fasermaterial und getrennte Auslässe (13 bzw. 14) für Fasern und schwere Partikel im Oberteil bzw. am Boden der Kammer (10) und mit wenigstens einer Leitung (16), die an den Boden der Kammer (10) zum Zuführen eines kontinuierlichen Basisluftstroms nach oben durch die Kammer bei einem solchen Durchsatz angeschlossen ist, daß er die Fasern, aber nicht die schweren Partikel tragen kann,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß der Einlaß (11) für das Fasermaterial nach oben gerichtet und mittig im unteren Abschnitt der Kammer (10) über der Zuführungsleitung (16) für den Basisstrom angeordnet ist, und daß ein ebenes horizontales Verzögerungselement (12) in Verbindung mit dem Einlaß (11) für das Fasermaterial so vorgesehen ist, daß die vertikale Geschwindigkeit des eintretenden Faserstroms unterbrochen und der Faserstrom nach außen abgelenkt und verteilt wird.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Leitung (16) zum Zuführen des Basisluftstroms an einen Luftverteilerraum (17) am Kammerboden angeschlossen ist, wobei dieser Raum mit der Kammer über einen einstellbaren Schlitz (18) in Verbindung steht, der sich um die Kammer herum erstreckt.
  3. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß eine Schleuseneinrichtung (15) im Boden der Kammer (10) zum Austragen der abgetrennten schweren Partikel angeschlossen ist.
  4. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß sie eine Einrichtung zum Steuern des Luftstroms zum Basisstrom aufweist, umfassend einen Kanal (19) mit einem Schieber (20) zum gesteuerten Bypass-Ablenken eines kleineren Teils des Luftstroms an der Kammer (10) vorbei.
  5. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß ein getrenntes Lüfterrad vorgesehen ist, um den Luft/Faserstrom zum Fasereinlaß (11) in der Kammer (10) zu befördern.
  6. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß sie in einer Fasertransportleitung zwischen einem Fasertrockner und einer Anordnung zur Ausbildung von Faserplatten angeordnet ist.
