Claims (5)

  1. Procédé de numérotation de feuilles de papiers-valeurs, sur chacune desquelles sont imprimées N impressions, ou empreintes, de papiers-valeurs placées en rangées transversales et longitudinales, les feuilles traversant l'une après l'autre une machine de numérotation ayant N numéroteurs, procédé dans lequel la numérotation s'effectue dans un ensemble fermé de numéros comprenant W papiers-valeurs et dans lequel le nombre de feuilles est un multiple de 100; caractérisé en ce que le nombre N d'empreintes peut se diviser par 10 et que sur chaque feuille 10 empreintes voisines forment un groupe de dix recevant des numéros de la même série de mille, en ce que dans chaque séquence de 100 feuilles consécutives, les empreintes se trouvant à la même position d'impression, c'est-à-dire dans la même rangée transversale et longitudinale, sont numérotées avec les 100 numéros consécutifs d'une série déterminée de centaine et les dix empreintes d'un groupe de dix de chaque feuille sont numérotées avec la même unité et la même dizaine mais avec des centaines consécutives, en ce que les empreintes se trouvant à la même position d'impression dans toutes les séquences de 100 feuilles consécutives sont numérotées avec la même unité, la même dizaine et la même centaine mais avec des milliers consécutifs, de sorte que les empreintes appartenant à un même groupe de dix d'une séquence de 100 feuilles reçoivent la séquence de numérotation complète d'une série de mille déterminée et les empreintes du même groupe de dix de la séquence suivante de 100 feuilles reçoivent la séquence de numérotation complète de la série de mille suivante, et les empreintes appartenant à différents groupes de dix sont numérotées de manière à ce que les numéros d'un groupe de dix se différencient des numéros d'un autre groupe de dix par une valeur au moins égale à W/Z, où Z est le nombre de groupes de dix sur une feuille.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le nombre de papiers-valeurs de l'ensemble fermé de numéros vaut W = 10n , n étant un nombre entier plus grand que 4, de préférence 5 ou 6, et le nombre d'empreintes N est de préférence 40, 50 ou 80, en ce que les empreintes appartenant aux différents groupes de dix d'une feuille sont numérotés de manière à ce que les numéros d'un groupe de dix se différencient de ceux d'un autre groupe, de préférence du groupe précédent, d'un montant égal à W/Z, de sorte que, quand la numérotation d'un ensemble fermé de numéros est terminée, les numéros du début de la numérotation se retrouvent sur les numéroteurs, tout en étant décalés de manière à ce que les numéros du début de la numérotation qui étaient attribués à un groupe de dix déterminé apparaissent sur les numéroteurs attribués au groupe de dix suivant.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, avec des feuilles comportant s rangées longitudinales ayant chacune 10 empreintes, s valant en particulier 4, 5 ou 8, caractérisé en ce que toutes les empreintes d'une même rangée longitudinale constituent l'un desdits groupes de dix, de sorte que les 10x100 empreintes de la même rangée longitudinale d'une séquence de 100 feuilles forment une série complète de mille après numérotation.
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, avec des feuilles comportant s rangées longitudinales ayant chacune moins de 10 empreintes, par exemple 5 rangées longitudinales avec 8 empreintes chacune, caractérisé en ce que sont choisies comme premier groupe de dix toutes les empreintes de la première rangée longitudinale et un nombre approprié d'empreintes de la seconde rangée longitudinale en commençant par une extrémité de cette rangée longitudinale, comme deuxième groupe de dix le reste des empreintes de la seconde rangée longitudinale et un nombre approprié d'empreintes de la troisième rangée longitudinale etc.
  5. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que la position des centaines d'un numéroteur ne change qu'entre deux chiffres consécutifs, de manière à ce qu'après 99 numérotation consécutives avec le même chiffre de centaines, le chiffre change à la centième numérotation et à la centunième le chiffre des centaines précédent revient, les deux chiffres consécutifs des centaines des dix numéroteurs attribués à un groupe de dix empreintes étant chacun différent d'une unité, et en ce que le rouleau à chiffres des milliers de tous les numéroteurs est changé après 100 numérotations consécutives, conjointement avec le rouleau à chiffres voisin des centaines.
