Abstract

A tubular bag package which has a fin (2) in which two strip-shaped edge regions (3) of the packaging material are connected to one another on their inner sides by peelable cold-sealing, the connection region taking up two partial regions (4) at the ends of the two edge regions (3) between which an unsealed central region (5) is located. For the complete gas-tight connection of the two edge regions (3) of the fin (2) and as an opening aid, a glued label (6) is folded over the fin edge (8), which label covers the central region (5), overlaps the two partial regions (4) of the connection region, and is connected by glueing to the fin surface on both sides of the fin (2). On one side of the fin, the glued label (6) has, at an edge located towards the package, an edge region (11) which is not connected to the fin surface and forms a gripping tab (12). The fin (2) is advantageously folded onto the package covering (13) and glued to the latter in such a way that the gripping tab (12) comes to rest at the top. <IMAGE>
