Claims (9)

  1. A pump supporting ring (1) for a bottle for distributing a product, of the type comprising a sleeve (2) adapted to receive a distribution pump (24) and upon which there may be fixed a pocket (5) the interior of which contains the product to be distributed, characterised in that the internal end of the sleeve (2) is equipped with a resilient sealed joint (3) which normally closes off this end and which is adapted to be opened by the internal ends (26) of the pump (24) when the latter is placed in the working position in the sleeve.
  2. A pump supporting ring according to Claim 1, characterised in that the joint (3) comprises a fixed member, particularly by moulding from a casting, around the sleeve (2) and extended by a split flange (12) projecting beyond the internal end of the sleeve.
  3. A pump supporting ring according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the sleeve 92) comprises a security membrane (36) through which a central orifice passes.
  4. Assembly for distributing a product, comprising:
    - a pump supporting ring (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 3; and
    - a flexible pocket (5) whose opening is fixed in a sealed manner, particularly by welding, around the sleeve (2).
  5. Assembly according to Claim 4, characterised in that it further comprises a distribution pump (24) fitted with a lower extension (26) adapted to pass through the flange (12) of the joint in the working position of the pump, and a capsule (25) which may be screwed on to the sleeve (2) and is supported on the pump, said capsule being intended to bring the pump into the working position.
  6. Assembly according to Claim 5, characterised in that it further comprises a movable security strip (7) surrounding the sleeve (2) beneath the capsule (25) when the latter is in the inoperative condition.
  7. Assembly according to any one of Claims 4 to 6, characterised in that it further comprises a relatively rigid case (33) adapted to receive the pocket (5) and fitted with positioning means for the sleeve (2).
  8. Method of filling an assembly for distributing a product according to any one of Claims 4 to 7, characterised in that:
    - there is introduced through a flange (12) of the joint (3) a suction tip (14), and said tip is connected to a vacuum source (19);
    - there is introduced through the flange (12) of the joint (3) a product filling tip (14) and said tip is connected to a pressurised source (22) of the product; and
    - the filling tip is withdrawn.
  9. Method according to Claim 8, characterised in that a single tip (14) is used, adapted to be connected selectively to one or to the other of the two sources (19, 22).
