Zu beachten ist hierbei, daß bei dem modernen Schulbetrieb die jeweilige Lehrkraft ihren Schulraum, der beispielsweise mit verschiedenen Geräten bestückt ist, behält, und die Schüler die Schulräume wechseln. Dadurch kommen unter Umständen im Stundentakt Schüler weit auseinanderliegender Altersklassen in den jeweiligen Schulraum und müssen an den dort befindlichen Schulmöbeln Platz nehmen. Beispielsweise muß vermieden werden, daß beim Einstellen der Höhenlage oder der Neigungslage der Tisch/Pultplatte die Platte nach unten fällt und möglicherweise die Beine oder Füße von Schülern verletzt werden oder daß es möglich ist, beim Einstellen der Tisch/Pultplatte sich Körperteile einzuklemmen. Hierbei kann die Lagerung der unterseitigen Gasfeder entweder an der Stütze oder an der Unterseite der Tisch/Pultplatte ausklinkbar sein, so daß dadurch die Tisch/Pultplatte in eine vertikale, raumsparende Lage verbracht werden kann.   7. A school table/school desk according to claim 1 characterised in that the support (3) is mounted on a U-shaped base free structure (2) corresponding to the width and depth of the table/desk top plate (6).
  8. A school table/school desk according to claim 1 characterised in that storage boxes (11, 12) which are preferably open at the narrow side are mounted on the support (3) at one or both sides.
  9. A school table/school desk according to claim 8 characterised in that the storage boxes (11, 12) are mounted pivotably forwardly on the support (3).
