Thus with non-use for more than one hour and then 2 minutes' use, 4 minutes is immediately available until there has been a period of 5 minutes of non-use, when 4 1/2 minutes become available, and so on. After the full 6 minutes (or 7 1/2 in the case of the nursing staff set) a 5 minute period of non-usage restores a 1/2 minute availability for use.

Claims (4)

  1. Krankenhausbett, enthaltend wenigstens einen Elektromotor oder eine ähnliche Vorrichtung zum gegenseitigen Verstellen von Teilen eines Bettes zueinander mit einer bestimmten Einsatzdauer sowie eine - erste - Bedienungseinrichtung für das Bett, die in einem Schaltkreis mit Abschaltmitteln verbunden ist, welche automatisch aktiviert werden können und auch automatisch in den Ausgangszustand zurückversetzt werden,
    wobei das Krankenhausbett dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß die Abschaltmittel automatisch nach Ablauf eines bestimmten ersten Zeitraums aktiviert werden, über den hinweg der Motor ständig in Betrieb war, und das Zurücksetzen nach einem Zeitraum erfolgt, über den hinweg der Motor nicht in Betrieb war, und dadurch, daß eine zweite Bedienungseinrichtung für das Bett vorgesehen ist, welche in einem Schaltkreis mit Abschaltmitteln verbunden ist, die nach einem zweiten vorbestimmten Zeitraum automatisch aktiviert werden, über den hinweg der Motor ständig in Betrieb war und der länger ist als der entsprechende erste Zeitraum, und die ebenfalls nach einem Zeitraum automatisch in den Ausgangszustand zurückversetzt werden, über den hinweg der Motor nicht in Betrieb war.
  2. Bett nach Anspruch 1, wobei bestimmte Einstellungen des Bettes sowohl mit Hilfe der ersten als auch der zweiten Bedienungseinrichtung vorgenommen werden können, während mit Hilfe der zweite Bedienungseinrichtung außerdem noch weitere Einstellvorgänge vorgenommen werden können.
  3. Bett nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder Zeitabschnitt, in dem der Motor nicht eingesetzt wird, den Zeitabschnitt um einen bestimmten Betrag vergrößert, in dem der Motoren eingesetzt werden kann, und zwar bis hin zu einem maximalen Zeitraum, der der vorbestimmten Einsatzdauer des Motors entspricht.
  4. Bett nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, wobei die Aktivierung der Abschaltmittel durch die erste Bedienungseinrichtung eine sichtbare Anzeige und/oder ein hörbares Signal an beiden Bedienungseinrichtungen aktiviert.
