Abstract

The main constituents of the furniture set are a frame-like bed box (1), a desk (2), having a desktop (12) and two lateral cheeks (11), and at least one storage container (3, 4) which fits under the desk (2). The desk (2) fits horizontally into the bed box (1). eine Vorderwand vorgesehen ist, die vor dem liegenden Schreibtisch, dessen dann vordere Seite abschließend, im Bettkasten aufstellbar ist, sodaß der liegende Schreibtisch und die Vorderwand gemeinsam ein Kinderbettgestell bilden, das in einem unteren Randbereich an drei Seiten vom Bettkasten eng umschlossen ist, und
der mindestens eine Ablagekasten neben dem Kinderbettgestell ebenfalls in den Bettkasten paßt und eine Wickelkommode bildet.

Wenn die Vorderwand eine Platte ist, kann sie unterhalb der Tischplatte des Schreibtisches parallel zu dieser angeordnet oder auch als Rückwand des Schreibtisches verwendet werden. Falls aber die Vorderwand des Kinderbettes ein Gitter mit senkrechten Stäben ist, kann sie aufrecht stehend, mit waagerechten Stäben, an einer Wand befestigt und als Garderobe oder für Turnübungen verwendet werden. Außerdem kann ein solches Gitter auch zur Versteifung des Schreibtisches anstelle einer Rückwand verwendet werden. In jedem Fall braucht vom Kinderbett nichts zurückzubleiben als dessen Matratze, die ohnehin aus hygienischen Gründen nach mehrjähriger Benutzung am besten nicht mehr weiterverwendet wird.
