Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schraubverbindung von rechtwinklig zueinander verlaufenden Hohlprofilen für Fenster-, Tür- od. dgl. In diese sind die den mittleren Bereich des Verbindungskörpers durchdringenden, als Senkkopfschrauben ausgebildeten inneren Befestigungsschrauben einzudrehen, während die dazu entgegengesetzt gerichteten äußeren Verbindungsschrauben des Verbindungskörpers in in der ihnen zugewandten dünnen Wandung des längsseitig zu verbindenden Metallprofils eingearbeitete Schraubgewindelöcher einzudrehen sind. Der Verbindungskörper kann dabei als zwischen den vergleichsweise niedrig gehaltenen Rändern des längszuverbindenden Metallprofils einzulegende flache Verbindungsplatte ausgebildet sein oder aber bei mit hohen Rändern versehenen Metallprofilrahmen mittig einen entsprechend hohen Höcker aufweisen, in den die mittleren Schraubgewindelöcher eingearbeitet sind. Eine solche Schraubverbindung ist zwar baulich einfach. Sie hat jedoch den Nachteil, daß die beidseitige Anbringung der Schraubbefestigungslöcher in dem durchlaufenden Hohlprofil eine exakte Ausrichtung zu den Schraubkanälen des stirnendig aufzusetzenden anderen Hohlprofils erfordert. Außerdem läßt diese Schraubverbindung aber auch an Festigkeit zu wünschen übrig, da die dem Stirnende des einen Hohlprofils abgewandte Längsseite des durchlaufenden Hohlprofils beim Anziehen der Verbindungsschrauben entsprechend nachgibt, sich nämlich nach innen wölbt. Das ist auch dann der Fall, wenn der durchlaufende Hohlprofilstab mit einem einliegenden metallischen Verstärkungshohlprofil versehen ist, da dieses regelmäßig nicht breitflächig an der Innenwandung des Hohlprofils, sondern lediglich an einzelnen Innenwandungsrippen des Hohlprofils anliegt und daher dem Anziehen der Verbindungsschrauben keinen hinreichend festen Widerstand entgegenzusetzen vermag. Diese Aufgabe wird ausgehend von einer Schraubverbindung der eingangs beschriebenen Gattung erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die miteinander schraubzuverbindenden Hohlprofile aus Kunststoff bestehen, der im stirnendig zu verbindenden Kunststoff-Hohlprofil vorhandene Schraubkanal ringsum geschlossen ist und im längsseitig zu verbindenden Kunststoff-Hohlprofil ein metallisches Verstärkungs-Hohlprofil eingeschoben ist, in das die beiden endseitig im Verbindungskörper sitzenden zweiten Verbindungsschrauben einzuschrauben sind. Auf diese Weise kommt man zu einer auch bei der T-förmigen Verbindung von Kunststoff-Hohlprofilen hinreichend festen Schraubverbindung, wofür einerseits die ringsum geschlossene Ausbildung des oder der im Inneren des stirnendig zu verbindenden Kunststoff-Hohlprofils vorhandenen Schraubkanäle sorgt und andererseits das im längsseitig zu verbindenden Kunststoff-Hohlprofil vorhandene metallische Verstärkungs-Hohlprofil beiträgt, da in beide die entsprechenden Verbindungsschrauben hinreichend fest eingedreht bzw. eingeschraubt werden können. Die dargestellte Profilverbindungsstelle wird von dem mit einem eingesetzten metallischen Verstärkungshohlprofil 1 versehenen, an der Verbindungsstelle durchlaufenden Kunststoff-Hohlprofil 2 einerseits und dem darauf stirnendig zu verschraubenden Kunststoff-Hohlprofil 3 gebildet, das entsprechend Fig.2 mit mehreren, vorzugsweise zwei an seiner Innenwand gegenüberliegend angeordneten, längsaxial verlaufenden, jeweils ringsum geschlossenen Schraubkanälen 4 versehen ist. Die Verbindung zwischen den beiden Hohlprofilen 2,3 erfolgt über den metallischen Schraubverbindungskörper 5, der beispielsweise aus nicht rostendem Stahl aber auch aus Leichtmetall, wie z.B. einer geeigneten Aluminiumlegierung, bestehen kann. Sie besitzt je zwei innenliegende Schraubbefestigungslöcher 6 für die darin einzusetzenden, in die ringsum geschlossenen Schraubkanäle 4 des Hohlprofils 3 einzudrehenden Verbindungsschrauben 7 und zwei in ihren Enden 5', also außen liegende Schraubbefestigungslöcher 8 für die in das durchlaufende Hohlprofil 2 und das darin vorhandene, metallische Verstärkungsprofil 1 einzusetzenden bzw. einzudrehenden Verbindungsschrauben 9. Als Verbindungsschrauben 7,9 dienen vorzugsweise selbstschneidende Senkkopfschrauben, die mit ihren Köpfen an den entgegengesetzt konisch verlaufenden Begrenzungswandungen der inneren und äußeren Schraubbefestigungslöcher 6 bzw. 8 fest anliegen. Auf ihrer dem stirnendig aufliegenden Hohlprofil 3 zugewandten Oberseite ist die Verbindungsplatte 5 mit quer verlaufenden, rippenförmigen Zentriervorsprüngen 10 versehen, die jeweils eine senkrecht zur Plattenoberfläche verlaufende Innenwandung 10' und eine darin scharfkantig auslaufende schräge Außenwandung 10'' besitzen. Mit diesen Zentrierrippen 10 kann die Verbindungsplatte 5 das Stirnende 3' des Hohlprofils 3 eng umgreifen. In ihrem innerhalb der Zentrierrippen 10 liegenden, die inneren Schraubbefestigungslöcher 6 aufweisenden Mittelteil 5'' springt die Platte 5 beidseitig über ihre Enden 5' vor, um auch insoweit dem darauf stirnendig aufzusetzenden Hohlprofil 3 profilmäßig voll zu entsprechen.The connecting plate 5 is in the present case specifically of the nature shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. Sodann kann die Verbindungsplatte 5 mit der unteren Dichtungsschicht 11 mit dem Hohlprofil 3 auf das durchlaufende Hohlprofil 2 aufgesetzt und mittels der außenliegenden Verbindungsschrauben 9 damit fest verbunden werden. Die prinzipiell gleiche Verbindungsweise wird auch für die Errichtung kreuzförmiger Hohlprofilverbindungen verwendet. Dazu wird je eine metallische Verbindungsplatte 5 zwischen deren gegenüberliegenden Längsseiten des hindurchgehenden Hohlprofils, z.B. 2, und den sich darauf gegenüberliegend abstützenden Stirnenden 3' der beiden anderen Hohlprofile 3 vorgesehen. Da die Enden 5' der Verbindungsplatte 5 mitsamt den in ihnen liegenden Senkköpfen 9' der Verbindungsschrauben 9 äußerlich kaum in Erscheinung treten, wird dadurch das Äußere dieser Kunststoff-Hohlprofil-Verbindung praktisch nicht beeinträchtigt, insbesondere dann nicht, wenn die Verbindungsplatten 5 etwa mit einem den über sie miteinander zu verbindenden Kunststoff-Hohlprofilen entsprechenden Farbüberzug versehen werden.To assemble the T-shaped hollow profile connection, the screw connection plate 5 together with the sealing layer 12 lying on its upper side is first fastened to the front end 3 'of the hollow profile 3 via the internal screws 7 to be screwed into the screw channels 4 which are closed all around. Claims (8)

  1. Screwed connection of hollow profile members extending perpendicular to one another, for frames of windows, doors or the like, wherein at the end of the one hollow profile member (3) which has at least one longitudinal, axially extending screw channel (4) in its interior there is fitted a metallic connector member (5) with its one face flat, and wherein the connector member is arranged to be screwed to said hollow profile member by means of at least one screw fixing hole (6) provided in the central region (5'') of the connector member and at least one first connecting screw (7) to be received in said screw fixing hole, and wherein said connector member (5) is positioned with its other side broadly flat on the longitudinal side of the other hollow profile member (2) and is arranged to be fixedly screwed thereto by means of screw fixing holes (8) positioned at its two ends (5') and by means of second connecting screws (9) received in said fixing holes and directed in the opposite direction to said first connecting screws (7), characterised in that the hollow profile members (2, 3) which are to be screwed together are of plastics material, the screw channel (4) provided in the plastics hollow profile member (3) which is to be connected end-on is fully enclosed, and in the plastics hollow profile member (2) which is to be connected on its lengthwise side there is inserted a metallic reinforcing hollow profile member (1) into which are screwed the second connecting screws (9) which are received at the two ends of the connector member (5).
  2. Screwed connect ion according to claim 1, characterised in that the connector member is formed as a flat connector plate (5) for contact with a continuous level contact surface (2') of the plastics hollow profile member (2) which is to be connected on its lengthwise side.
  3. Screwed connection according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that on the upper side of the connector member (5) facing the first hollow profile member (3) which is set end-on there are provided transversely extending centering projections (10) which grip the end (3') of the hollow profile member (3) tightly.
  4. Screwed connect ion according to claim 3, characterised in that the centering projections (10) are formed as ribs and each has an inner face (10') extending perpendicular to the upper surface of the connector plate and an inclined outer face (10'') extending at an angle thereto.
  5. Screwed connect ion according to claim 3, characterised in that the connector plate (5) has its central portion (5'') which lies within the centering ribs (10) and which carries the inner screw fixing holes (6) projecting outwardly on both sides beyond the dimensions of the plate ends (5').
  6. Screwed connection according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the connector plate (5) has an outer screw fixing hole (8) at each of its two ends (5') and two inner screw fixing holes (6) positioned adjacent to and inwardly of its centering ribs (10).
  7. Screwed connection according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that sealing strips (11, 12) lying flat on the connector plate (5) are provided between the connector plate (5) and the respective hollow profile members (2, 3) which are to be screw-connected to each other by way of the connector plate.
  8. Screwed connection according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that for cross-shaped hollow profile member connections a metallic connector member (5) is provided between each of the opposite longitudinal sides of the through-going hollow profile member (2) and the respective ends (3') of the two other hollow profile members (3) which are to be fixed to opposite sides of the through-going hollow profile member.
