Claims (15)
- Cigarette comprenant une tige de matière à fumer entourée par un matériau d'emballage consistant en papier, en contact intime avec une formulation d'additif, le matériau d'emballage consistant en papier comprenant une bande cellulosique de base et une formulation d'additif comprenant des constituants hydrosolubles, formulation d'additif qui(a) constitue 5 à 40 % du matériau d'emballage consistant en papier, sur la base du poids sec ; et(b) comprend (i) des ions de métaux alcalins et (ii) des ions de métaux alcalino-terreux, de telle sorte que le rapport des équivalents des ions (i) aux équivalents des ions (ii) soit compris dans l'intervalle de 0,05 à 1,0 ; (iii) des anions inorganiques facultatifs ; et (iv) des anions organiques, de telle sorte que le rapport des équivalents des anions (iii) aux équivalents des anions (iv) soit compris dans l'intervalle de 0 à 1,0 ; les équivalents des constituants (i) plus (ii) étant égaux aux équivalents des constituants (iii) plus (iv) ; le terme "équivalents" désignant le nombre de moles d'un ion constitutif multiplié par la charge de ce constituant.
- Cigarette suivant la revendication 1, dans laquelle la formulation d'additif comprend (iii) des anions inorganiques et (iv) des anions organiques de telle sorte que le rapport des équivalents des anions (iii) aux équivalents des anions (iv) soit compris dans l'intervalle de 0,05 à 0,7.
- Cigarette suivant la revendication 2, dans laquelle le matériau d'emballage consistant en papier comprend une bande cellulosique de base et au moins une charge inorganique.
- Cigarette suivant la revendication 2 ou 3, dans laquelle la formulation d'additif constitue 10 à 35 % du poids sec du matériau d'emballage consistant en papier.
- Cigarette suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 2 à 4, dans laquelle la formulation d'additif est telle que le rapport des équivalents du constituant (i) aux équivalents du constituant (ii) soit compris dans l'intervalle de 0,2 à 0,5 et le rapport des équivalents du constituant (iii) aux équivalents du constituant (iv) soit compris dans l'intervalle de 0,1 à 0,3.
- Cigarette suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 2 à 5, dans laquelle la matière à fumer est délimitée par un matériau d'emballage supplémentaire, matériau d'emballage supplémentaire qui est délimité par le matériau d'emballage consistant en papier.
- Cigarette suivant la revendication 1, comprenant une tige à fumer, comprenant une matière à fumer présente dans des premier et second matériaux d'emballage extérieurs ; le premier matériau d'emballage délimitant la matière à fumer et le second matériau d'emballage délimitant et recouvrant le premier matériau d'emballage ;(A) le second matériau d'emballage comprenant une formulation d'additif répondant à la définition suivant la revendication 1 ; et(B) le premier matériau d'emballage comprenant une charge inorganique.
- Cigarette suivant la revendication 7, dans laquelle le second matériau d'emballage comprend une bande cellulosique de base et au moins une charge inorganique.
- Cigarette suivant la revendication 7 ou la revendication 8, dans laquelle la formulation d'additif est telle que le rapport des équivalents du constituant (i) aux équivalents du constituant (ii) soit compris dans l'intervalle de 0,1 à 0,7 ; et le rapport des équivalents du constituant (iii) aux équivalents du constituant (iv) soit compris dans l'intervalle de 0,1 à 0,5.
- Cigarette suivant la revendication 7, dans laquelle le premier matériau d'emballage a un poids, sur base sèche, compris dans l'intervalle de 20 g/m2 à 40 g/m2 ; et le second matériau d'emballage a un poids, sur base sèche, compris dans l'intervalle de 20 g/m2 à 35 g/m2.
- Cigarette suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 7 à 10, dans laquelle le premier matériau d'emballage comprend une charge contenant du magnésium.
- Cigarette suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle les anions inorganiques, lorsqu'ils sont présents, sont des ions chlorure, des ions sulfate, des ions nitrate, des ions phosphate ou des ions borate.
- Cigarette suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle les anions organiques sont des ions acétate, des ions propionate, des ions formiate ou des ions lactate.
- Cigarette suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle les ions de métal alcalino-terreux sont des ions calcium ou des ions magnésium.
- Cigarette suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle les ions de métal alcalin sont des ions sodium ou des ions potassium.
