Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à une tôle en alliage d'aluminium pour carrosseries d'automobiles, dont l'alliage contient 2 à 10 % en poids de magnésium et qui est constituée par une base d'aluminium métallique, sur laquelle est formé un revêtement au phosphate d'aluminium, ainsi qu'un revêtement à l'oxyde d'aluminium, et, si nécessaire, une couche huileuse constituant la dernière couche supérieure. Le procédé de production de cette tôle consiste à traiter une tôle d'un alliage d'aluminium contenant 2 à 10 % en poids de magnésium avec un acide ayant un pH de 4 au maximum, pour enlever le revêtement à l'oxyde de magnésium de la surface de la tôle, à traiter la tôle qui en résulte avec une solution de phosphate pour former un revêtement au phosphate d'aluminium entre la base métallique et le revêtement à l'oxyde d'aluminium, et si nécessaire, à former une couche huileuse comme dernière couche supérieure.
