By this operation, the secret document can be stored in the tray while being shielded at a periphery thereof, that is, while preserving secrecy of the document to thereby prevent the secret document from being observed undesirably by the other people.

- the microcomputer is further provided with a password output device 33 for converting input signal from the tenkey 41 of the panel into a password, a store/compare device 35 for storing the password extracted by the lock/unlock judgement device 31 in a password storage device 34, comparing the password input by depressing the lock/unlock key 40 after finishing the printing operation with the password stored in the password storage device 34, and releasing the locked condition by actuating the solenoid 118a through the locking device actuating device 32 if it is judged that these passwords coincide with each other, and a paper feeding path changing device 37 for changing the paper feeding path toward the second tray 110 by actuating the solenoid 16 when the lock command is supplied.

Accordingly, the secret documents can be stored in the tray while being shielded at a periphery thereof, that is, while preserving secrecy of the document to thereby prevent the secret document from being observed undesirably by the other people.
- the display device 42 When the lock/unlock key 40 is depressed after finishing the printing operation the display device 42 indicates a message for inputting a password, and an operator inputs from the tenkey 41 the password which should be the same as that inputted before the printing.
- the code of the key-in signal is output as a password through the password outputs device 33 to the store/compare device 35 where the input password is compared with that which is previously stored in the password storage device 34 before the printing operation. If the store/compare device 35 judges that the input password is correct then the solenoid 118a is actuated by the locking device actuating device 32 so that the locking condition of the tray 10 is released. After that, the operator can pick up the documents from the drawer 11.
- one of the trays is always locked.
- the locking operation may be performed in accordance with a lock command supplied from the host computer or a key input from the panel before the printing operation and, at the same time, a password may be allowed to be recorded.
- a password is recorded every time when the printing operation is carried out to preserve secrecies of the documents for a plurality of operators in the above embodiments, a single password may always be stored to thereby eliminate the bothersome password recording operation every time of the printing.
- the drawer 11 can be inserted in the second dray 110 and locked.
- a door 120 is provided at the opening 110a of the second tray 110, which is locked to the housing body 1 by a locking mechanism 118b which is operable with a key. This arrangement also performs similar function to the second embodiment described above.
- a laser printer includes a housing body accommodating therein a printing mechanism of an electro-photograph system, a plurality of trays arranged vertically on an upper portion of the housing body, a locking structure for locking at least one of the trays to the housing body, and means for changing a paper feeding path for printed papers. Therefore, the secret documents are fed out to the locked tray thereby preventing the documents from being observed by the other person, whereas the normal documents can be stacked on a plurality of trays with sorting into compartments.

Claims (16)
- Appareil d'impression comportant :un corps de boîtier (1),un mécanisme d'impression (2, 3, 4),des moyens (6, 7) destinés à avancer du papier d'impression (P) vers le mécanisme d'impression,plusieurs plateaux (9, 10; 110) destinés à empiler des feuilles imprimées par ledit mécanisme d'impression (2, 3, 4),un passage d'avance du papier (15) destiné à avancer les feuilles imprimées vers lesdits plateaux (9, 10; 110),des moyens (16, 17) destinés à modifier de manière sélective ledit passage d'avance du papier vers l'un desdits plateaux (9, 10; 110),des moyens (18; 118) destinés à bloquer au moins un desdits plateaux (10; 110);des moyens de commande (30) destinés à commander lesdits moyens de blocage (18; 118) en fonction d'un signal provenant d'un appareil hôte relié à l'appareil d'impression; etdes moyens d'actionnement (40, 41, 42) disposés de préférence sur une surface dudit corps de boîtier (1) afin d'actionner lesdits moyens de blocage (18; 118),lesdits moyens de commande (30) comportantdes moyens destinés à commander lesdits moyens de changement de passage d'avance du papier (16);des moyens de sortie de mot de passe (33) destinés à convertir le signal d'entrée desdits moyens d'actionnement (40, 41) en un premier mot de passe;des moyens de décision de blocage/déblocage (31) destinés à estimer si une commande de blocage ou de déblocage est reçue de l'hôte relié au réseau, lesdits moyens de décision de blocage/déblocage (31) commandant lesdits moyens de changement de passage d'avance du papier (37) vers un plateau sélectionné;caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de décision de blocage/déblocage extraient un deuxième mot de passe d'un signal délivré par l'appareil hôte; et lesdits moyens de commande (30) comportent en outre des moyens de stockage de mot de passe (34) destinés à stocker ledit deuxième mot de passe délivré par lesdits moyens de décision de blocage/déblocage;des moyens destinés à comparer ledit premier mot de passe avec ledit deuxième mot de passe stocké dans les moyens de stockage de mot de passe (34), lesdits moyens de comparaison (35) actionnant les moyens d'actionnement de dispositif de blocage (32) afin de débloquer lesdits moyens de blocage (18; 118) lorsque ledit premier mot de passe coïncide avec ledit deuxième mot de passe.
- Appareil d'impression selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ledit corps de boîtier (1) comporte une cassette (5) afin d'empiler des papiers d'impression et/ou dans lequel ledit passage d'avance de papier est disposé à l'intérieur dudit corps de boîtier (1).
- Appareil d'impression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel ladite multiplicité de plateaux comporte un premier plateau (9) et un deuxième plateau (10; 110).
- Appareil d'impression selon la revendication 3, dans lequel lesdits moyens de décision de blocage/déblocage (31) commandent lesdits moyens de changement de passage d'avance du papier (37) vers ledit deuxième plateau (10; 110).
- Appareil d'impression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel lesdits moyens de changement (16, 17) comportent des moyens de trappe (17) destinés à guider la feuille imprimée vers ledit deuxième plateau (10; 110), et des moyens (16) destinés à faire tourner lesdits moyens de trappe (17).
- Appareil d'impression selon la revendication 5, dans lequel lesdits moyens de rotation de moyens de trappe (17) comportent des moyens électromagnétiques (16).
- Appareil d'impression selon la revendication 6, dans lequel lesdits moyens électromagnétiques comportent un électroaimant (16).
- Appareil d'impression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel lesdits moyens de blocage (118) comportent :un élément concave (119) prévu sur ledit deuxième plateau (110);un élément de tige (118b) destiné à engager ledit élément concave (119); etdes moyens (118a) destinés à commander ledit élément de tige (118b).
- Appareil d'impression selon la revendication 8, dans lequel lesdits moyens d'entraînement d'élément de tige (118a) comportent des moyens électromagnétiques, de préférence un électro-aimant.
- Appareil d'impression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel lesdits moyens de commande (30) comportent un microcalculateur.
- Appareil d'impression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel lesdits moyens de commande (30) comportent des moyens d'actionnement comportant une touche de blocage/déblocage (40) et un clavier à 10 touches (41).
- Appareil d'impression selon la revendication 5 et selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes rattachées à la revendication 5, comportant en outre des moyens destinés à détecter un état bloqué dudit plateau choisi, de préférence le deuxième plateau (10; 110), lesdits moyens de détection produisant un signal de sortie afin d'actionner lesdits moyens de rotation de trappe (16) de façon à faire tourner lesdits moyens de trappe (17).
- Appareil d'impression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel ledit plateau choisi (10; 110) est protégé par une plaque supérieure, et un tiroir (11) est inséré dans ledit plateau, ledit tiroir (11) étant bloqué de manière sélective.
- Appareil d'impression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel ledit appareil d'impression est une imprimante laser d'un type électrophotographique.
- Appareil d'impression selon la revendication 14, dans lequel l'imprimante laser est une imprimante page par page.
- Appareil d'impression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel ledit appareil d'impression peut être relié à un système de réseau.
