Die obere Endstellung der Lochstempel innerhalb des Lochers wird jedoch nicht durch diese Endanschläge definiert, sondern durch einen Endanschlag des Druckorgans, das somit unter der Einwirkung der vorgespannten Rückstellfedern in seiner oberen Anschlagstellung gehalten wird. Dadurch werden die Locheinheiten druckfrei gestellt und können innerhalb des Unterteils leicht in ihrem gegenseitigen Abstand verstellt werden. Um ein leichtes Verschieben der Locheinheiten 20 innerhalb des Lochers und ein einfaches Auswechseln der mit den Locheinheiten 20 bestückten Montagestange 34 zu ermöglichen, schlagen die Lochstempel 56 in ihrer oberen Endstellung unter der Einwirkung ihrer Rückstellfeder 48 gegen einen oberen Endanschlag 52 der jeweiligen Locheinheit 20 an, während zwischen dem Locherunterteil 10 und dem Druckhebel 18 mindestens ein die Locheinheiten 20 überbrückendes Federelement 60,62 angeordnet ist, das den Druckhebel 18 von den rückwärtigen Stirnflächen 54 der Lochstempel 56 abhebt und unter Vorspannung gegen einen oberen Endanschlag hält.
