Soll beispielsweise die Druckplatte 5 verstellt werden, werden die Schrauben 9; 11 gelockert und die Differentialschraube 28 wird betätigt. Die Veränderung kann am Nonius 34 abgelesen werden, wobei die Skalen eine Teilung von 99 : 100 aufweisen können. Nach erfolgter Verstellung werden die Schrauben 9; 11 wieder festgezogen. Soll beispielsweise die Druckplatte 7 verstellt werden, so werden die in Fig. 1 nicht dargestellten Schrauben für die Einsatzleiste 17 gelockert und durch Betätigen des mit der Differentialschraube 27 verbundenen Außensechskantes 38 wird die Einsatzleiste 17 mit den Registerzapfen und somit die Druckplatte 7 betätigt. Claims (3)

  1. A device for aligning a plurality of printing plates (2 to 7), arranged next to one another in the axial direction, in good register on a plate cylinder (1) of a rotary printing machine, the printing plates (2 to 7) being bent at their ends, projecting into a cylinder cavity (8) and having recesses (25) which are in engagement with axially displaceable register pins (21; 22) projecting into the cylinder cavity (8), characterized in that axially displaceable insert strips (14 to 17) are arranged in the cylinder cavity (8), in that there is provided a channel (23) which is constructed to be so narrow that it just receives the bent ends of the printing plates (2 to 7), in that the insert strips (14 to 17) have on their side remote from the surface of the plate cylinder (1) register pins (21; 22) projecting into the channel (23), in that for the axial displacement of the insert strips (14 to 17) there are provided differential screws (26; 27) which are supported directly (14) or indirectly (15, 9; 15, 11; 16, 12; 16; 13) on the plate cylinder, and in that screws (9; 11 to 13) for clamping the insert strips (14 to 17) in the cylinder cavity (8) are provided.
  2. A device according to Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the register pins (21; 22) are of hard metal and are fixed in recesses in the insert strips (14 to 17) by adhesion.
  3. A device according to Claims 1 to 2, characterized in that there are arranged on the insert strips (14 to 17) and on the outer surface of the plate cylinder (1) scales which serve as a vernier (34 to 37).
