Definitions
- the invention relates to an air passage according to the preamble of claim 1.
- B. known air passages of the generic type (DE-GM 73 19 443) are arranged within a cylindrical shell in the angle of attack adjustable wing. The blades, which can be adjusted in the blade angle, are adjusted accordingly in accordance with the discharge heights and the volume flow rates.
- This known air nozzle generates a very concentrated swirl jet, which cannot reduce the speed in the swirl jet quickly enough with large amounts of air and small discharge heights.
- This air nozzle is generally used for industrial halls with large discharge heights of 5 to 12 m above the floor, with smaller discharge heights, drafts are unavoidable or the enforceable supply air quantities are not sufficient.
- the invention has for its object, preferably for discharge heights of 2.5 to 5 m to reduce the speeds, with a substantially higher air throughput, to such an extent that there are no drafts below the air outlet.
- the jacket of the air passage is perforated with several rows of holes
- an aperture ring is provided in the interior of the cylindrical jacket and preferably a swirl vane insert is adjustable in the axial direction in the cylindrical jacket for air jet change. Only through the combined effect of the perforation, the aperture ring and the preferably axially adjustable swirl vane insert is a draft-free adjustment possible for low discharge heights with large air throughputs.
- a partial volume flow flows out through the perforation at different outlet angles depending on the position of the orifice ring and the preferably adjustable swirl vane insert. This partial volume flow generally reduces the volume flow emerging directly downwards and thus the downward exit pulse.
- the swirl vane insert is preferably adjusted axially from below to far into the perforated area. This ensures that, with a constant total volume flow, the total pressure loss increases, the induction effect of the air jets from the lateral perforation increases, since the exit speed from the perforation increases above the swirl insert and due to the increased total pressure loss and the longer outflow distance in the jacket of the air outlet behind the swirl insert a more rotating swirl jet is generated in the air flow direction.
- the negative pressure between the two air jets is greater and the overall turbulence is additionally increased and the overall impulse is increased by the increased rotation in the swirl jet and the Reinforced induction breaks down faster and the downward penetration depth is less than when the swirl vane insert is set in a position further downstream.
- the radial jet emerging from the perforation flows out slightly obliquely downwards when the swirl vane insert is in the perforated area. Due to the negative pressure between the swirl and radial jet, the radial jet emerging from the side is guided more or less strongly, depending on the axial position of the swirl vane insert, down into the area where people are staying.
- the swirl vane insert is preferably adjusted axially downwards accordingly.
- the then lower pressure loss and the smaller outflow distance in the jacket of the air outlet behind the swirl vane insert and the smaller amount of air through the swirl vane reduce the intensity of the rotation in the swirl jet.
- the swirl jet has a greater axial penetration depth and can therefore flow in from larger discharge heights into the area where people are staying.
- the air passage consists of a cylindrical jacket 1 open on both sides, which is connected to an air inlet duct 16 via an air inlet connection 2.
- a bead 10 increases the stability of the jacket 1.
- a perforated plate 7 is fixedly connected to the cylindrical jacket 1 in the air inlet connection 2. The perforated plate 7 causes a relatively uniform loading of the actual air passage with supply air and causes a symmetrical flow pattern.
- the jacket 1 is provided in the middle part over part of its length with a perforation which consists of several circumferential rows of holes with holes 3.
- a swirl wing insert 5 is arranged in the jacket 1 in the area of the perforation or below it. Upstream of the swirl vane insert 5 there is an aperture ring 4 provided with a central passage opening.
- the supply air flowing into the jacket 1 partly exits through the holes 3 of the perforation into the hall to be ventilated, the direction of exit being influenced by the aperture ring 4.
- the other part of the supply air is swirled by the swirl vane insert 5 and emerges from the jacket 1 through the open end at the bottom with swirl.
- the aperture ring 4 is non-positively connected to the jacket 1.
- the swirl vane insert 5 is axially displaceable in the jacket 1.
- a threaded rod 6 is arranged in the longitudinal axis of the casing 1, which is firmly connected to the perforated plate 7.
- a threaded bushing 8 is guided on the threaded rod 6, with which the swirl vane insert 5 is firmly connected.
- the swirl vane insert 5 can be adjusted in the axial direction of the casing 1 by rotating the threaded bushing 8.
- the threaded rod 6, the threaded bushing 8 and the lock nut 9 can be replaced by a smooth rod or a tube and a compression fitting, one half of which is rigidly connected to the swirl vane insert and the other half is used for locking.
- the jet behavior of the emerging air is changed by the axial adjustment of the swirl vane insert 5. If the swirl vane insert 5 is in the perforated area with the holes 3, then a strongly rotating swirl jet will emerge downwards and a radio beam will emerge almost horizontally from the holes 3. With an axial displacement of the swirl vane insert 5 in the direction of the open end of the casing 1, the depth of penetration of the air jets into the hall to be ventilated is changed in accordance with the blow-out height, as already described in detail above.
- the aperture ring 4 basically causes the radial jet to be raised in the direction of the horizontal in conjunction with the swirl vane insert 5.
- the aperture ring 4 is arranged above the perforation or in the upper region thereof at low outlet heights and further below in the perforated region of the jacket 1 at extremely large outlet heights. The farther the aperture ring 4 is arranged downwards, the more the radial beam is also lowered downward, as a result of which the exit pulse is amplified downward.
- the air outlet according to FIG. 1 a is essentially identical to the air outlet according to FIG. 1, but contains a blow-out funnel 20.
- This blow-out funnel 20 allows very large amounts of air to be passed through at low blow-out heights, since the air jet emerging downwards is not directly vertical due to the Coanda effect emerges down.
- this version is only advantageous if the supply air is blown in during isothermal and cooling cases. This version is not suitable for heating.
- the aperture ring 4 is non-positively connected to the threaded rod 6 via webs 4a and freely movable in the jacket 1.
- Crosspieces 11 firmly connect the jacket 1 to a threaded sleeve 12.
- the threaded rod 6 can be adjusted in height by turning.
- With a lock nut 9a the threaded rod 6 is secured against independent rotation.
- a slot 13 is made in the lower end of the threaded rod 6.
- the threaded rod 6 is secured against rotation when loosening and tightening the lock nut 9a with a screwdriver.
- the threaded rod 6 is freely movable centered in a hole in the perforated plate 7. If the threaded rod 6 is rotated, the swirl vane insert 5 is adjusted in the axial direction together with the diaphragm ring 4. However, the swirl vane insert 5 can also be moved separately in the axial direction, as described for the air outlet according to FIGS. 1 to 3.
- the air outlet according to FIG. 7 differs from the air outlet according to FIG. 4 in that the threaded rod 6 can be adjusted. Instead of the threaded sleeve 12 and the webs 11, the threaded rod 6 is received by a self-locking nut 19. This nut 19 is rigidly connected to the perforated plate 7. By inserting a screwdriver into the slot 13, the threaded rod 6 can be rotated and the swirl vane insert 5 including the diaphragm ring 4 can be axially adjusted. Here, too, the swirl vane insert 5 can be adjusted separately in the axial direction by turning the threaded bushing 8.
- the air outlet according to FIGS. 8 and 9 corresponds to the previously described air outlets in the fluidic mode of operation and in the basic structure.
- the aperture ring 4 is firmly connected to the threaded rod 6 via webs 4a. the threaded rod 6 is fastened in the perforated plate 7, it cannot be rotated.
- the swirl vane insert 5 is adjusted as described for the air outlet according to FIGS. 1 to 3.
- the difference compared to this embodiment is that the cylindrical casing of this air passage consists of two closed-walled end sections 1b, which are connected via webs 14. Between these two end sections 1b there is a middle section 1a, which receives the perforation and is displaceable in the axial direction relative to the end sections 1b. By shifting the central section 1a, an additional change in the direction of the jet of the laterally emerging radial jet is achieved.
- the swirl vane insert 5 and the aperture ring 4 can also be adjusted as described for the air outlets according to FIGS. 4 and 7.
- the cylindrical jacket 1 shown in FIGS. 1, 4 and 7 is shortened below the swirl vane insert 5.
- a push-over tube similar to the lower end section 1a according to FIG. 8, is placed on the jacket 1 thus shortened.
- This push-over tube can be displaced in the axial direction, as a result of which the outflow path in the air flow direction behind the swirl vane insert 5 can be changed. This change changes the intensity of the swirl and thus the depth of penetration.
- the swirl vane insert 5 can also be used with vanes with a larger pitch angle.
- the swirl vane insert 5 can also be provided with vanes that are adjustable in the angle of incidence for the air flow.
- the wing adjustment can be combined with the axial displacement of the aperture ring 4 and / or the swirl wing insert 5.
- all of the air outlets described are mounted on outlets 15 of the supply air duct 16.
- the air outlets usually have a relatively small center-to-center distance. 10 shows the normal flow behavior of the air outlets at low discharge heights.
- the downward flow 17 becomes too intense, and the rows of holes are then provided with interruptions 18 vertically on the opposite air passages. If the downward flow 17 is to be intensified intentionally, the vertical interruptions 18 are to be carried out offset by 90 °. Interruptions 18 in the perforation of the casing 1 can be selected accordingly for special applications.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an air passage according to the preamble of
The invention has for its object, preferably for discharge heights of 2.5 to 5 m to reduce the speeds, with a substantially higher air throughput, to such an extent that there are no drafts below the air outlet.
This object is achieved in that the jacket of the air passage is perforated with several rows of holes, an aperture ring is provided in the interior of the cylindrical jacket and preferably a swirl vane insert is adjustable in the axial direction in the cylindrical jacket for air jet change. Only through the combined effect of the perforation, the aperture ring and the preferably axially adjustable swirl vane insert is a draft-free adjustment possible for low discharge heights with large air throughputs. A partial volume flow flows out through the perforation at different outlet angles depending on the position of the orifice ring and the preferably adjustable swirl vane insert. This partial volume flow generally reduces the volume flow emerging directly downwards and thus the downward exit pulse. At very low discharge heights, the swirl vane insert is preferably adjusted axially from below to far into the perforated area. Due to the increased degree of turbulence in the rotating swirl jet and the increased induction effect of the air jets of the lateral perforation, the negative pressure between the two air jets is greater and the overall turbulence is additionally increased and the overall impulse is increased by the increased rotation in the swirl jet and the Reinforced induction breaks down faster and the downward penetration depth is less than when the swirl vane insert is set in a position further downstream. The radial jet emerging from the perforation flows out slightly obliquely downwards when the swirl vane insert is in the perforated area. Due to the negative pressure between the swirl and radial jet, the radial jet emerging from the side is guided more or less strongly, depending on the axial position of the swirl vane insert, down into the area where people are staying.
If larger discharge heights are available, the swirl vane insert is preferably adjusted axially downwards accordingly. The then lower pressure loss and the smaller outflow distance in the jacket of the air outlet behind the swirl vane insert and the smaller amount of air through the swirl vane reduce the intensity of the rotation in the swirl jet. When the rotation is weakened, the swirl jet has a greater axial penetration depth and can therefore flow in from larger discharge heights into the area where people are staying.

The air passage consists of a
The
The jet behavior of the emerging air is changed by the axial adjustment of the
The
The air outlet according to FIG. 1 a is essentially identical to the air outlet according to FIG. 1, but contains a blow-
The difference is in the constructive solution to the adjustment of the
The air outlet according to FIG. 7 differs from the air outlet according to FIG. 4 in that the threaded
The air outlet according to FIGS. 8 and 9 corresponds to the previously described air outlets in the fluidic mode of operation and in the basic structure. The
In a further embodiment, the
In order to bring about a larger total impulse downwards, the
According to FIG. 10, all of the air outlets described are mounted on
