Description

The invention relates to a wall bar for a shower, the wall bar being accommodated in a blind hole in each case at the end regions of bracket-like holders which can be fastened to the building wall with screws.
A device of this type is known for example from DE-PS 28 44 191. In addition, it is already known from DE-GM 69 22 086, in order to avoid inadvertent loosening or pulling out of the wall bar from the supports, to arrange locking pins in the supports with which the pipe ends are locked in a bayonet-like manner.

The invention has for its object to improve the device specified in the preamble of claim 1 and, in particular, to design it in such a way that a stable attachment of the wall rod can be achieved with simple means, it being part of the task to form the attachment releasably, for example to functional elements such as To be able to retrofit shower holders, soap dishes etc.
This object is achieved in that to connect the support arm to the wall rod, an insertable bushing is provided which can be rusted to the support arm by means of tongues, the screw for wall mounting being arranged in the socket and the wall rod being designed as a tube. Further refinements of the invention are specified in claims 2 to 6.

The proposed solution enables a stable attachment between the wall bar and the building wall. The load-bearing parts required for the stability of the device can advantageously be produced separately from the decorative components. It is also easy to disassemble the brackets designed as consoles for retrofitting functional elements, e.g. Soap dishes.

The wall bar 1 shown in part in FIG. 1 is received at its end regions by a holder 2, with which the wall bar 1 is spaced from a building wall 5 by means of a screw 21 is fixable. The bracket 2 is formed from a support arm 3 and a decorative hood 4 covering the support arm 3. The forces occurring on the wall bar 1 are absorbed by the support arms 3 and the screws 21. The decorative hood 4 is used for the tasteful and hygienic design of the holder 2.
The tubular wall rod 1 is provided at its end regions with a radial bore 11 and opposite these bores each with an elongated hole 12 which is larger in diameter and open to the end region, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 2 and 4.
The decorative hood 4 is formed from a sleeve 4a and a cap 4b. The sleeve 4a can be pushed onto the support arm 3 and is provided with a sack-shaped radial opening 41 for receiving the wall rod 1. On the projecting end face of the sleeve 4a, projections 42 are formed on the inside, grip behind the snap noses formed on the cap 4b in the plug-in position and thus releasably connect the cap 4b to the sleeve 4a.
A receiving bore 33 is formed concentrically in the support arm 3, as can be seen from FIGS. 6, 8, 9 and 10 of the drawing. A shaped pin 32 is formed perpendicular to the receiving bore 33 and parallel to the central axis of the wall bar 1 and can be inserted into the wall bar 1, as can be seen in FIG. 1 of the drawing. To connect the support arm 3 to the wall bar 1, a socket 31 with locking tongues 311 is also provided (FIGS. 11, 12), which is inserted into the receiving bore 33 of the support arm 3 and is secured in the plug-in position by the locking tongues 311.

The pre-assembly of the wall bar 1 with the brackets 2 can be done in the following way:
The support arms 3 are each provided with the sleeve 4a, after which the wall bar 1 is pushed with one end region through the radial opening 41 of the sleeve 4a on the molded pin 32 of the support arm 3. In this position, the sleeve 4a is held axially by the wall bar 1, fixed on the support arm 3. The wall rod 1 is then rotated with the radial bore 11 so that it is aligned with the receiving bore 33 of the support arm 3. Now the socket 31 can be inserted into the receiving bore 33 and locked in place with the locking tongues 311. The sleeve 4a with the support arm 3 is thus positively connected to the wall bar 1. The bracket 2 is locked with the wall bar 1 in this position.
When installed on a building wall 5, the screw 21 can thus be screwed directly into a dowel hole prepared in the building wall 5. In this case, a slot 312 is provided in the socket 31 for receiving the screw 21, with which an adjustment of the wall rod 1 is made possible. The elongated hole 12 opposite the radial bore 11 is used for easy insertion of the bushing 31 and good accessibility when the screw 21 is screwed into the building wall 5.
When screw 21 is tightened, bushing 31 of shaped pin 32 presses radially against the inner wall of tubular wall rod 1, which in turn is pressed with its outer jacket against a cylindrical contact surface 34 of support arm 3 and is thus held by support arm 3 on building wall 5 without play is.
After the wall bar 1 is aligned with the building wall 5 and braced with the screws 21 in the two support arms 3, the end face of the sleeve 4a which is now firmly arranged on the support arm 3 can be closed with the caps 4b, so that the device after this is ready for operation.
By removing the cap 4b, the screw 21 can be loosened directly from the building wall 5, whereupon the bushing 31 can then be removed from the receiving bore 33, so that the holder 2 is then pulled off the wall bar 1 on one side and, if necessary, the shower holder is replaced and / or a soap dish etc. can be retrofitted. The holder 2 is then to be fastened again to the building wall 5 in the same manner as mentioned above.
