Abstract

The rod (1) is tubular and is secured to a building wall, etc. by several brackets (2). The brackets are formed so that the fastening screw (8) for each bracket can also secure the rod. Each bracket includes a support body (3), which has a through hole to receive the rod. A hole (31) for the fastening screw has a larger diameter in the area of the through hole than the screw head (80) and is then stepped to form a decreased diameter approximately the diameter of the screw shaft (81). The rod has one radial bore (10), so that the pipe can be fixed to one support body with a fastening screw, while the other support bodies secure the pipe only through the through hole.

Description

The invention relates to a fastening for a wall bar, in particular for holding hand showers or the like, the wall bar being tubular trained and on one building wall etc. by several Consoles is held, and wherein the consoles are designed are that with the mounting screw the wall bar tube can also be attached to the console.

Such a wall bar is from DE 41 24 353 A1 known. With this wall bar for showers two consoles are provided, each with one Blind hole with the tubular wall bar at the end area are connected. Every console is beyond that connected to the wall bar via the fastening screw, which reaches through a wall bar hole. This is a variable arrangement of the Brackets on the wall bar not possible, so it can occur, for example, that the tile joints Tile wall for drilling the fixing holes the wall bar is not or only partially used can be.

The wall bar shown in Figs. 1 and 2 is for storage one that can be supplied with water via a hose line Hand shower provided. Here is a wall bar tube 1 approximately perpendicular to a wall 9 of a building with two brackets 2 and two fastening screws 8 arranged. On the wall tube 1 is a Slider A rotatable and axially between the two brackets 2 for mounting one not in the drawing hand shower shown arranged.

The two consoles 2 shown are identical. Each console consists of a support body 3, a decorative hood 4 and the fastening screw 8.
The support body 3 has been produced from a plastic having the required strength values in an injection molding process and has a through opening 30 designed for the passage of the wall rod tube 1, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 5 to 7 of the drawing. In the through opening 30 four ribs 301 protruding radially into the through openings 30 are formed symmetrically, which are each provided with inclined surfaces 302 at the lateral end regions. The ribs 301 are dimensioned such that a slight elastic deformation takes place when the wall rod tube 1 is pushed in, thus ensuring that the wall rod tube 1 is held in the through opening 30 without play. As an alternative to the arrangement of the ribs 301, the through hole 30 can also have a certain out-of-roundness, as a result of which a slight elastic deformation and thus a play-free reception can also be achieved when the wall tube 1 is inserted. A bore 31 for receiving a fastening screw 8 is formed radially to the through opening 30. The bore 31 initially has a diameter which is larger than the diameter of the screw head 80. This region is followed by an expanding undercut 32, after which the bore 31 has a cross section as an elongated hole 31a, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 5. is continued. The elongated hole 31a has a small width that is somewhat larger than the diameter of the screw shaft 81. This configuration of the bore 31 makes it possible for the fastening screw 8, as is shown in particular in FIG. 1 for the lower bracket 2, to be introduced with the screw head 80 into the area in the undercut 32, so that in this fastening position only the bracket 2 is fastened to the wall 9 by the screw 8. By forming the elongated hole 31a, an adjustment on the wall 9 is possible. An axial attachment of the wall tube 1 is not possible with the console 2 in this arrangement. If, on the other hand, the wall bar tube 1 is provided with a radial bore 10, and a washer 5 with a larger outside diameter than the diameter of the bore 31 is provided on the fastening screw 8, the wall bar tube 1 can also be axially fastened with the one bracket 2 using the fastening screw 8, as shown in particular in FIG. 1 in the upper console 2.
A holding rail 33 is formed on each side of the supporting body 3, a stop 330 being formed in each case in the end region. In addition, a resilient latching tongue 34 is formed on the support body 3 parallel to the holding rails 33.
The decorative hood 4 provided for the decorative design of the surface and for easy cleaning of the brackets 2, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 2, 22 and 23, is provided with guide rails 40 for mounting on the support body 3. In addition, the decorative hood 4 in the region of the guide rails each has a locking lug 41 with which the decorative hood 4 is locked in the plug-in position on the support body 3. To insert the fastening screw 8, a slot 42 is also formed on the end face of the decorative hood 4, which can be closed with a cap 45, as is shown in particular in FIGS. 24 to 26, with the aid of latching tongues 450. In addition, the decorative hood 4 has a through opening 43 for the passage of the wall tube 1.

The end regions of the wall tube 1 protruding laterally from the brackets 2 are provided with plugs 6a, 6b which are held in the interior of the wall tube 1. The upper plug 6a shown in FIG. 1 is, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 8 to 10, connected to the washer 5 laterally via a tab 51 and is preferably made in one piece from plastic by injection molding. To secure the plugs 6a, 6b against rotation, an axial groove 12 is formed on each of the end faces of the wall rod tube 1, into which the plug 6a, 6b each has a lug 63 in the inserted position. On the outer end face of the plugs 6a, 6b, a holding pin 61 is also formed, on which a decorative cover cap 7a, 7b can be fastened. To axially secure the plug 6a in a factory pre-assembly, a locking pin 601 is also formed on a one-armed spring member 60, which engages in the plug-in position in a radial bore 11 of the wall tube 1.
The lower plug 6b shown in FIG. 1, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 11 to 13, is provided with a two-armed spring element 60, on which the locking pin 601 is formed. The plug 6b is thus essentially held axially in the wall rod 1 by the locking pin 601. The decorative cover cap 7a, 7b can in turn be arranged on the protruding holding pin 61.

The cover cap 7a shown in FIG. 1 is shown in FIGS. 14 to 16 as an individual part in connection with an additional decorative ring 72, the cover cap 7a being approximately cylindrical and provided with a protruding end surface inclined by approximately 45 °. For fastening on the holding pin 61, latching tongues 70 are formed in the cover cap 7a, which engage in a corresponding recess in the holding pin 61 in the plug-in position, so that the cover cap 7a is axially locked in the plug-in position. To prevent rotation, an axially projecting nose 71 is also formed on the outer edge of the cover cap 7a, which in the plug-in position fits into an axial groove 62 formed on the end face of the plugs 6a, 6b, so that the desired rotational position of the cover cap 7a relative to the wall rod in the plug-in position is ensured ,
17 to 19 a further cover cap 7b is shown, which can alternatively be attached to the holding pin 61 of the plugs 6a and 6b. The cover cap is hemispherical and otherwise also has latching tongues 70 and the axially projecting nose 71, so that a correspondingly latched fastening on the holding pin 61 is made possible.

The wall bar described above can be installed in the following way:
3 and 4, a bracket 2, consisting of support body 3 and decorative hood 4, can be axially pushed in at the factory, after which the plug 6a with the molded washer 5 is inserted into the wall bar tube 1. Snap tongues 50 are formed on the washer 5, which are dimensioned such that they can be pushed into the enlarged area of the bore 31 by deflecting the spring lugs, in such a way that, after reaching the undercut 32, they spread back into their original position, so that the one console 2 and the plug 6a can be permanently connected to the wall tube 1 at the factory.
When installing in the bathroom etc., the fastening holes can first be made in the wall 9, for example in the area of tile joints. Then the lower console 2 is first fastened to the wall 9 with the fastening screw 8. Then the wall tube 1 can be pushed into the through opening 30 of the lower support body 3 with the slider A pushed on and the upper bracket 2 held at the factory with the aid of the snap tongues 50. Now that the cap 45 has been removed, the upper fastening screw 8 can be screwed into the wall 9 via the radial bore 10 through the washer 5 and the upper bracket 2 can be fastened. Then the slots 42 on the upper and lower console 2 can be closed again with the caps 45. The wall tube 1 is then axially free of play on the upper bracket 2 and radially on both the upper and the lower bracket 2.
Subsequently, the lower plug 6b can be snapped into the wall rod tube 1, so that the cover caps 7a or 7b can then be blasted onto the holding pin 61. The plug 6b can also be connected to the wall tube 1 at the factory, so that only a cover cap 7a, 7b then has to be attached to the holding pin 61. After this, the wall bar can be used for shower operation.

Alternatively, the wall rod tube 1 can be fixed a support body 3 even without a special washer 5 done. The radial bore 10 would then be at least in the area of the side facing the wall 9 in Diameter smaller than the diameter of the screw head To train 80.
