Claims (2)

  1. Chemise de cylindre pour moteur à combustion interne, notamment pour gros moteur diesel, fabriquée en fonte perlitique à graphite sphéroïdal, et présentant les limites d'analyse suivantes :
    3,2 à 3,9 % en poids de carbone
    2,1 à 2,7 % en poids de silicium
    0,1 à 0,4 % en poids de manganèse
    moins de 0,01 % en poids de soufre
    0,025 à 0,06 % en poids de magnésium
    0,5 à 1,5 % en poids de cuivre
    du bore pour 0,01 à 0,03 %
    du phosphore pour 0,2 à 0,4 %
    éventuellement du vanadium pour 0,1 à 0,3 %
    du fer pour le reste,
    dans laquelle la structure de la fonte comprend, outre les inclusions de graphite sphéroïdal, également des fractions cémentite/eutectique phosphoreux nettement limitées, disposées selon une distribution réticulée uniforme et qui occupent une fraction de 3 à 8% de la surface.
  2. Chemise de cylindre pour moteur à combustion interne selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la fonte contient une addition de vanadium de 0,1 à 0,3 % en poids en tant qu'élément d'alliage, aux dépens du fer constituant l'élément restant.
