Due to the two compression springs acting on the clamping wedge said clamping wedge is moved evenly and it is avoided that the wedge is pressed out of alignment, which may lead to the wedge becoming jammed. After the wedge 14 has been removed from the recesses 26 the coupling piece can be uncoupled by suitably manipulating the connecting plates and the implement equipped therewith, in order to be coupled to another implement provided with similar connecting plates again.
  • a further advantage of the construction according to the invention is that the same coupling piece is suitable for remote control by means of a hydraulic cylinder as described above, as well as for a mechanical connection, in which case the setting cylinder may be left out and the clamping wedge may be fixed in the usual manner by means of bolts.
  • a construction originally made for mechanical connection may thus be adapted for remote control at a later stage, e.g. by simply providing the setting cylinder.
  • protecting hoods 30 may furthermore be secured to the ends of the connecting plates in which the recess for receiving the wedge-shaped ends of the clamping wedge 14 are provided, said protecting hoods constituting a protection for the ends of the clamping wedge 14 as well as for the recesses receiving said ends, and at the same time form an additional reinforcement of the connecting plates, so as to oppose undesirable bending of the connecting plates near the recesses receiving the ends of the clamping wedge 14.

Claims (6)

  1. Kombination eines Werkzeuges und eines Verbindungsstückes (2-4) zum Verbinden eines Werkzeuges, beispielsweise einer Baggerschaufel, mit dem Ende eines Auslegers eines Baggers oder dergleichen, wobei das Verbindungsstück (2-4) sowohl mit dem Ausleger als auch mit einem mit dem Ausleger verbundenen Stellzylinder drehbar verbindbar ist, wobei das Werkzeug mit zwei an dem Werkzeug befestigten Verbindungsplatten (26) versehen ist, wobei die Verbindungsplatten (26) sowohl mit Ausnehmungen zur Aufnahme von Zapfen (4), die einen Teil des Verbindungsstückes (2-4) bilden, als auch mit konischen Ausnehmungen zur Aufnahme eines Befestigungskeiles (14), der an dem Verbindungsstück (2-4) angeordnet ist, versehen sind, wobei zwei Stäbe (9), die sich parallel zueinander und senkrecht zu der Längsrichtung des Befestigungskeiles (14) erstrecken, an dem Befestigungskeil (14) angeordnet sind und durch in Teilen (7) des Verbindungsstückes vorgesehene Durchbrüche (8) hindurchgeführt sind, wobei die Stäbe (9) von Druckfedern (10) umgeben sind, die durch genannte Teile (7) des Verbindungsstückes und an den von dem Befestigungskeil (14) entfernten Enden der Stäbe (9) angeordnete Anschläge (11) begrenzt sind, wobei die Anordnung derart ist, daß in der Lage, in der das Verbindungsstück (2-4) mit dem Werkzeug verbunden ist, die Druckfedern (10) den Befestigungskeil (14) fest in die konischen Ausnehmungen zu ziehen suchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Stellzylinder (17) an dem Verbindungsstück vorgesehen ist, durch den der Befestigungskeil (14) und die Stäbe (9) in Längsrichtung der Stäbe (9) gegen die Wirkung der die Stäbe über einen wesentlichen Teil ihrer Länge umgebenden Druckfedern (10) derart bewegbar sind, daß der Befestigungskeil (14) und die Stäbe (9), die lösbar mit dem Befestigungskeil (14) verbunden sind, durch den Stellzylinder über eine Entfernung bewegbar sind, die ausreichend ist, um den Befestigungskeil (14) aus den konischen Ausnehmungen herauszubewegen, wobei genannter Stellzylinder (17) im wesentlichen parallel zu den Stäben (9), die auf beiden Seiten des Stellzylinders (17) symmetrisch in bezug zu diesem angeordnet sind, und zwischen den Stäben (9) angeordnet und in eine Lage verstellbar ist, in der der Stellzylinder (17) nicht in Wirkungsverbindung mit dem Befestigungskeil (14) steht.
  2. Kombination nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Zylindergehäuse (17) des hydraulischen Stellzylinders fest (18) mit dem Verbindungsstück verbunden ist und daß ein Ende einer Kolbenstange (19), das aus dem Zylindergehäuse (17) hervorsteht, aus einer Lage, in der das Ende um eine gewisse Entfernung von dem Befestigungskeil (14) beabstandet ist, in eine Lage, in der das Ende an dem Befestigungskeil (14) anliegt, bewegbar ist und darüber hinaus weiterbewegbar ist, um den Befestigungskeil (14) gegen die Wirkung der Druckfeder (10) parallel zu der Längsrichtung des Stellzylinders zu bewegen.
  3. Kombination nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein kugeliger Körper (20) an dem Ende der Kolbenstange (19) befestigt ist und daß gegenüber dem kugeligen Körper (20) eine konische Ausnehmung (21) in dem Befestigungskeil (14) vorgesehen ist.
  4. Kombination nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stäbe (9) mittels Schrauben (13) lösbar mit dem Befestigungskeil (14) verbunden sind.
  5. Kombination nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß haubenförmige Verstärkungsteile (30) nahe den Ausnehmungen an den einander abgewandten Seiten der Verbindungsplatten (26) vorgesehen sind.
  6. Verbindungsstück (2-4) zur Verwendung in einer Kombination gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, mit einem Befestigungskeil (14), der lösbar mit zwei Stäben (9), die sich parallel zueinander und senkrecht zu der Längsrichtung des Befestigungskeiles (14) erstrecken, verbunden ist, wobei die Stäbe (9) durch in Teilen (7) des Verbindungsstückes vorgesehene Durchbrüche hindurchgeführt und über einen wesentlichen Teil ihrer Länge von Druckfedern umgeben sind, die durch genannte Teile (7) des Verbindungsstückes und an den von dem Befestigungskeil entfernten Enden der Stäbe (9) angeordnete Anschläge (11) begrenzt sind, wobei ein Stellzylinder (17) an dem Verbindungsstück zwischen den Stäben (9) und parallel zu diesen vorgesehen ist, um das Verbindungsstück (2-4) und die Stäbe (9) in Längsrichtung der Stäbe (9) gegen die Wirkung der Druckfedern (10) zu bewegen.
