Abstract
Le procédé consiste à incorporer au papier de sécurité proprement dit une série de signes, qui peuvent être des lettres, des anagrammes, etc., obtenus avec une encre résistante à l'eau avec laquelle on effectue l'impression correspondante sur un support soluble à l'eau, de sorte qu'après cette impression on procède à l'élimination du support, après quoi les signes restent en suspension et peuvent être appliqués au papier de manière semblable à l'incorporation à un tel papier de planchettes ou fibrilles de sécurité classiques. La bande mentionnée comporte en outre des pigments fluorescents ou phosphorescents pour l'identification de signes à l'aide de lumière ultraviolette ou par transparence, et éventuellement des matériaux magnétiques ou simplement métalliques pour la détection des signes à l'aide d'un champ magnétique.
