Abstract

A corner or round shower (10) with a shower tray (12) has at least two splashguard elements (20) in the form of single-piece doors (20) which are rigid in their vertical extent (H), but flexible transversely thereto and can be moved up to or past uprights (32) which bound an access opening (30) laterally. Each door (20) is formed by a transparent plastic panel which is fitted between edge strips (44) and has - preferably only on the outside - gently rounded grooves (26, 28) parallel to the vertical extent (H). The groove depth (t) extends down to webs (42) of such a wall thickness (w) that adjacent panel segments (40) are linked permanently so as to be bendable or foldable. The uprights (32) support the upper profiled rail (16); they can be displaceable towards the wall strips (14) on support rollers (80) and connected with movement in each case to a side portion (34). At least one side portion (34, 74) can preferably be swivelled inwards in order to reach outer depositing means (64, 66) from the inside. <IMAGE>

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Duschabtrennung gemäß dem Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1.The present invention relates to a shower partition according to the preamble of claim 1.

Zur Aufstellung insbesondere in einer Badezimmer-Ecke sind sog. Erfindungsgemäß sind wenigstens zwei Spritzschutz-Elemente in Form einstückiger Türen vorgesehen, die in Richtung ihrer Hochausdehnung steif, quer dazu jedoch flexibel und an Pfosten heran- oder vorbeibewegbar sind, welche die Einstiegsöffnung seitlich begrenzen. Im Gegensatz zur bisherigen Rundduschen-Technik werden also keine starren (ebenen oder gebogenen) Türen oder Türsegmente benutzt, so daß der hierfür notwendige Konstruktionsaufwand entfällt. Die einstückigen, quer zur Hochausdehnung flexiblen Türen nach der Erfindung passen sich nicht nur unterschiedlichen Radien vorgegebener Duschtassen, sondern auch der jeweiligen Kurvenbahn selbsttätig an. Diese insbesondere parallelen Rillen verleihen der Türplatte ein hohes Maß an Flexibilität. Bevorzugt sind an der Tür nach Anspruch 3 nur Außenrillen vorhanden, während die Innenfläche durchgehend glatt ist, was für den Wasserablauf und die Reinigung von Vorteil ist. Für besondere Schmiegsamkeit können laut Anspruch 4 die Rillen abwechselnd von der Außen- und von der Innenseite her in die Tür eingelassen sein, wodurch die Anpassung an beliebige Krümmungen oder Ecken noch unterstützt wird. Fig. 7a zeigt eine teilgeöffnete Stellung und läßt erkennen, daß eine Randleiste 44 der Tür 20 einen Mitnehmer 45 aufweisen oder bilden kann, welcher - wenn die Tür 20 über die Mittenlinie M hinaus vorbewegt wird - den Pfosten 32 durch unmittelbare Anlage (Fig. 7b) mitzieht.A modified embodiment is illustrated in FIGS. 6, 7a, 7b. Claims
