Abstract

A corner or round shower (10) with a shower tray (12) has at least two splashguard elements (20) in the form of single-piece doors (20) which are rigid in their vertical extent (H), but flexible transversely thereto and can be moved up to or past uprights (32) which bound an access opening (30) laterally. Each door (20) is formed by a transparent plastic panel which is fitted between edge strips (44) and has - preferably only on the outside - gently rounded grooves (26, 28) parallel to the vertical extent (H). The groove depth (t) extends down to webs (42) of such a wall thickness (w) that adjacent panel segments (40) are linked permanently so as to be bendable or foldable. 10 Protection claims

1. Shower partition, in particular for constructing a corner or round shower (10) on a shower tray (12), with at least two splash guard elements (20) which are movably mounted on a horizontal upper profile rail (16) attached to the wall with their ends (36) and are guided on their lower edge (24), e.g. along a lower profile rail (18) carried by the shower tray (12) and, when pulled apart, reveal an access opening (30), optionally with side panels (34) adjoining vertical wall strips (14), characterized in that the splash guard elements are one-piece doors (20) which are rigid in the direction of their vertical extension (H), but flexible transversely thereto and can be moved towards or past posts (32) which laterally delimit the access opening (30).
