Description

The invention relates to a mounting kit for cabinet furniture equipped with pivoting sliding doors according to the preamble of claim 1.

Swiveling sliding doors allow an almost complete release of a box opening, whereby the door can be pushed into the box without requiring a larger space on the side, as with pure sliding doors, and without covering or driving under other areas of view of the box. The swivel-sliding doors, also known under the name "Flipper-Door", are used, among other things, in built-in furniture for television and sound reproduction devices. It is also possible to use double-leaf doors that open on opposite sides and / or to design the individual leaves in the case of relatively flat boxes to be collapsible in the manner of a folding door.

So far, separately manufactured fittings and guide parts have been used for the assembly of such pivoting sliding doors, which are expensive and cannot be adapted or only laboriously to different door heights and door widths as well as the space available in the respective box compartment.

A mounting kit of the type mentioned is known from DE-A-1 784 748. The aim is to achieve the shortest possible length of the carriages and thus the width of the carrier connecting them, which is why it is necessary to ensure that the two carriages guided on the upper and lower rails run synchronously. To achieve this, Racks are provided either above the upper and below the lower guide rail, with which a pinion assigned to the respective carriage meshes, which is mounted on the carriage and connected to the second pinion via a shaft, or actuators in the form of pneumatic are provided above and below the rails Piston drives are provided which only allow parallel adjustment. All of these parts represent special constructions. The carrier consists of a profile tube to which the furniture hinges are permanently attached. In addition, the guide rails must be attached at a parallel distance from the outer edges of the furniture wall and cannot be moved to the respective edge of the furniture wall due to the toothed racks or piston drives. Separate stops are used to guide the door sideways when it is pushed in. It is preferred to lower the entire door and thus also the fitting into a side compartment separated from the rest of the box space by an intermediate wall.

In a similar assembly kit according to DE-A 2 847 578, it is also provided that the entire door with the fitting is countersunk in a side compartment separated by an intermediate wall. In this case, guide rails are formed on the upper and lower ends of the intermediate wall, on which rollers or sliders are supported for guiding a door carrier. In order to achieve perfect parallel guidance, belts are provided in a zigzag pattern over rollers.

From FR-E-60 329 a mounting kit for hinged box doors is known, in which two unequal leg U-rails form the guide rails and a common guide carriage with rollers attached to it is guided on the web of the U-shaped guide rails. The lower U-flange is the longer flange and has a longitudinal rib, on which the car is supported downwards. The distance between the flanges of the U-profile on the rail is greater than the thickness of the hinged door, the door being pivotally connected to the carriage about a transverse axis being accommodated in the U-profile when inserted. At a distance above the guide rails, rollers are provided on which the inside of the door is supported during the opening and closing movement. The carriage can be constructed in two parts in order to enable an exact adaptation to the rail spacing.

The object of the invention is to provide an assembly set of the type mentioned which, with the extensive use of commercially available components which have hitherto been used for other purposes, permits adaptation to various installation conditions, corresponds to the aesthetic requirements, results in sufficient strength and reliable guidance and with the door already installed, their adjustment or readjustment to an exact closed position enables.

The object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

So-called body rails are preferably used as guide rails, such as those used in pull-out guides for other furniture parts. B. charging are in use. These rails can be cut from the running strand material in the required lengths and additionally processed by punching, embossing, bending the ends, etc. In the case of the trolleys, conventional castors and other commercially available or easily manufactured parts can also be used for pull-out guides. The support plates can be made from a suitable material for the respective piece of furniture, and the use of the support plates also allows the attachment of commercially available adjustable furniture straps is facilitated. In particular, commercially available three-dimensionally adjustable and adjustable furniture hinges are used, so that the door can be attached to a side wall in the same way as a hinged door. Because of the attachment of the guide rails along the two outer edges of a box wall, there is additional support on the adjoining walls of the furniture part and assembly is facilitated, the guide rails hardly disturbing the overall picture of the compartment interior. Due to the special design of the end stops made of resilient material with guide pieces or bumpers, they have a multiple function, which not only limits pulling out, but also prevents the door from being scratched during insertion and opening. You can also use furniture hinges that have a braking or locking position and thereby prevent the door from fluttering. Such fluttering of the door in the open position can also be limited or prevented by stops in the box on the inside of the door. Finally, the preferably adjustable stops for the closed door exactly determine the closed position of the door and prevent the door from swinging undesirably into a fold-free box opening of the door.

In order to enable an exact adjustment of the closed door to an alignment with the edges of the furniture body or a precisely defined protrusion above it, a further development according to claim 2 is provided.

In the case of doors which can be opened in a parallel position to the ceiling or, in exceptional cases, to the floor and pushed in in this position, a further development can be provided. The roller thickness is usually only a fraction of the roller height, so that space is saved.

The box-like furniture provided has side walls 1, a rear wall 2, a floor 3 and a ceiling 4.

At the end of the box opening, a pivoting sliding door 5 is provided according to FIGS. 1 to 4, the visible side 6 of which is aligned with the edges 7 of the bottom 3, the ceiling 4 and the side wall 1 in the exemplary embodiment, but in other embodiments also somewhat in relation to these edges 7 - or jump in.

For mounting the door 5, an assembly kit is used with two rails 8, 9 fastened to the side wall 1 above and below, the flanges of which form running surfaces. One flange 10 is flanged to form a channel and encompasses the associated castors, which are still to be mentioned. The other flange can be angled. At the rear ends of the rails 8, 9 bent stops 11 are formed from the flanges. In the front end region, the flanges in the upper and lower rails 8, 9 are cut out in opposite directions, one flange forming a contact surface 12 and a widened head 13 being formed from the flange material by flattening, in the region of which a stop piece 15 is formed by means of a screw 14 is attached, which engages with two lugs 16 in corresponding openings of the rail head piece 13 and is thus secured against rotation. The side of the stop 15 directed towards the length of the rail 8 or 9 is concavely curved. Furthermore, a stop tab 17 projecting inward beyond the rail profile is molded onto the stop 15.

In the exemplary embodiment, two rollers 18 of a carriage 19, 20 are inserted into the running rails 8, 9. The upper or lower carriage 19, 20 is cranked away from the rollers 18 and thus also from the wall 1 and forms a retaining strip 21, on which with the aid of screws 22 a support plate 23 is fastened over the space between the two carriages 19, 20. The base body 24 is fastened to this support plate by two three-dimensionally adjustable furniture hinges 25, via which the door 5 is connected to the support plate. The door 5 can thus be pivoted about the vertical pivot axis determined by the furniture hinges 25 from the closed position according to FIG. 1 into an alignment with the support plate 23 and in this alignment position with the support plate 23 parallel to the side wall 1 inserted into the box. The parts 17 of the stops 15 form bumpers or guide pieces which prevent the visible side 6 of the door 5 from being scratched on the rails 8, 9.

Closing stops 26, 27 for the door 5 are attached to the floor 3 and the ceiling 4. These closing stops are attached in the vicinity of the side walls, the distance from the side wall 1 being chosen so that the stops 26 and 27 do not impede the insertion of the door 5, but prevent or limit fluttering of the inserted, opened door.

According to FIG. 4, the closing stop 27 (correspondingly also the closing stop 26) consists of an eccentric disc made of flexible material, e.g. B. plastic, which is rotatable about its fastening screw 28 and can be locked in any desired rotational position by tightening this screw. In this way it is possible to fine-tune the door hinges.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, the door (not shown) is attached so that it can be opened upwards. For this purpose, the rails 8, 9 are attached to the ceiling 4 of the box and at the transition edge to the side walls 1 in the embodiment in such a way that the channel-shaped flanges 10 encompassing the rollers 18 rest against the side walls 1. Holding pieces 21 of the carriages 19, 20 for the rollers 18 are connected to one another via a support plate or another cross member 23. The furniture tapes 25 were only shown in their outlines. There are adjustable again Eccentric stops 29 for the door available. It is essential in the embodiment according to FIG. 5 that the rollers 18 are rotatable about vertical axes 30, thereby saving a lot of space. The channel flanges 10 grip the rollers 18 only in the edge area, so that the rollers in the rails 8, 9 actually run and not only slide.

Claims (3)

1. A kit for assembling box furniture (1 to 4) which is provided with hinged sliding doors (5), which kit comprises hardware elements (8, 9, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25), which define a pivotal axis for the door (5) concerned, and a slide track, which is parallel to said axis and to a wall (1) which is transverse to the opening that can be closed by the door, wherein the door (5) which has initially been swung outwards is adapted to be pushed along said slide track into the box in the direction of the principal plane of the door, the slide track is constituted by two track rails (8, 9), which are adapted to be mounted to extend horizontally and to be spaced apart and parallel to each other and each of which supports a trolley (19, 20) by means of two rollers (18), which are guided on the track rails on guiding surfaces which transversely protrude from the box wall, said trolleys (19, 20) are interconnected by a carrier (23) on that side of the track rails which faces away from the box wall, and the door (5) is hinged to said carrier by means of furniture hinges (75) which permit said door to be swung out to a position in which the door is aligned with the carrier, characterized in that the track rails (8, 9) are adapted to be mounted to extend along the two outer edges of a box wall (1, 4), that the trolleys (19, 20) are provided with holders (21), which are bent out towards that side which faces away from the rollers (18), said holders are adapted to be secured to a carrying plate (23), which constitutes the carrier, the furniture hinges (25) which are adapted to be secured to the carrying plate (23) are designed to be adjustable, and the track rails (8, 9) are provided at those ends which face the box opening that is adapted to be closed by the door are provided with stops for the rollers (18), which stops consist of end stops (15), which have been inserted into the rails and are made of yieldable material and carry means (17) which protrude transversely over the cross-section of the rail and serve to guide and deflect the door (5) as it is pushed in and out, and further stops (26, 27) are provided for those edges of the door (5) which when the door is closed adjoin that edge which is connected to the furniture hinges.
2. A kit for assembling according to claim 1, characterized in that stops for the closed door (5) are constituted by eccentrics (26, 27, 29), which are made of elastically yieldable material and are adapted to be secured to the walls (1, 3, 4) of the box near the opening and are adjustable and adapted to be fixed in position.

A kit for assembling according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the track rails (8, 9) are adapted to be mounted on the top wall (4) of the box so that the door (5) can be secured so that it can be swung open and slidably inserted, and said track rails have trough flanges (10), which adjacent to their edges extend around the rollers (18), which are rotatable on vertical axes of rotation (30).
