Description

Vorrichtung zum Abheben von Briefumschlagklappen, die durch mechanische Verformung ein Abspreizen der Briefklappe bewirken, gehören zum Stand der Technik (DE-26 32 913, DE-29 48 929). Die mechanische Verformung kann bei steifen oder stark gefüllten Umschlägen versagen, so daß der folgende Schließvorgang nicht ausführbar ist. Abhilfe schafft eine Vorrichtung, die impulsförmiges Ausstoßen von Luft gegen einen Briefumschlag dessen Klappe soweit hebt, daß ihr Gummierung nachfolgend von einer Anfeuchteinrichtung benetzt werden kann (DE-33 37 488). Diese Vorrichtung erfordert einen Niederhalter, dessen Andruckkraft ggf. auf die Briefstärke und die Luftstromstärke abzustimmen ist.Devices for lifting envelope flaps, which cause the letter flap to expand due to mechanical deformation, belong to the prior art (DE-26 32 913, DE-29 48 929). Der Briefumschlag 10 läuft nach der Vereinzelung durch die Förderwelle 21 und die Andruckrolle 22 über eine perforierte Saugplatte 30. Der Saugplatte 30 ist eine Trennplatine 40 nachgeordnet. Dabei liegt die der Trennplatine 40 zugewandte Kante der Saugplatte 30 unter der vorderen Kante der Trennplatine 40, gesehen in Transportrichtung eines Briefumschlages. Die Oberfläche der Saugplatte 30 ist konvex gewölbt. Über einen Saugstutzen 31 wird, gesteuert von nicht dargestellten Abtasteinrichtungen, z. B. Lichtschranken, Luft durch die Perforierung abgesaugt. Von einem über die Saugplatte 30 geführten unverschlossenen Brief 10 wird dadurch die Briefumschlagklappe angesaugt und gleitet unter die Trennplatine 40.
