Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a support tube awning with a support tube held in support brackets, which supports trestles for extension arms and holders for a fabric shaft and a sleeve.
A support tube awning of this type is described in DE-PS 34 28 153. There the sleeve sits in special holders of the support tube. The adjustment of the inclination of this awning is inadequate because the closure of the retracted awning on the sleeve is only insufficiently adjustable.
A similar supporting tube awning is described in DE-OS 38 04 150. On the one hand, the inclination of the trestles for the drop arms can be adjusted. In addition, the sleeve is pivotally received in special holders. As a result, the inclination setting is also insufficient with this awning.
The object of the invention is to provide a support tube awning that ensures a clean conclusion of the drop rod on the sleeve. This conclusion is important both for aesthetic reasons and to protect the awning fabric. In addition, the inclination of this awning should be adjustable without difficulty.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the holder receiving the cloth shaft also receive the sleeve and in that an adjustable tilt joint is seated on the trestles.
The invention differs from the prior art in that on the one hand the sleeve is fixedly mounted on the holders of the cloth shaft and on the other hand adjustable tilt joints are provided for the extension arms. This ensures that the sleeve is always evenly closed when retracted. This provides a satisfactory picture both aesthetically. In addition, the awning cloth is also protected against impurities and the like by the tight seal. The adjustment of the inclination on the tilt joints is possible without any difficulty by an operator.
An adaptation and alignment of the sleeve and the cloth shaft is ensured in that each holder has a receptacle for the sleeve approximately concentrically with the bearing for the cloth shaft.
A secure alignment and mounting of the sleeve is achieved in that supports for the sleeve are arranged on the support tube.
The supports are held in that one support is clamped with a ring-shaped support on a trestle.
The inclination setting is effected in that each tilt joint comprises an adjustable limiter seated on a rod and a check pin actuated by the respective drop arm for locking the limiter.
