Abstract

A plummer block for the arm of a Florentine blind with articulated arms, comprising a supporting block (2) which can be clamped to a supporting part, and a bearing block (4) which can tilt about a substantially horizontal axis into the descended position and on which an articulated arm (20) is mounted so as to be able to pivot about an axis aligned transversely to the tilt axis, the bearing block (4) and the supporting block (2) being coupled by a coupling rod (5) which permits and limits the tilting movement and has a thread (8) and adjusting nut (9), and a blocking slide (15) being coupled to the articulated arm (20), which blocking slide is displaceable transversely to the axis of the coupling rod (5) and blocks the same in the descended position. The technical problem is to construct the plummer block such that the functioning of the stop is independent of the blocking slide and that a blocking slide capable of being manufactured in a simple manner can be used. The adjusting nut (9) is constructed as a solid cylinder with thread passage in the radial direction. A cylindrical segment pan (35) is provided as a receptacle for the cylindrical face (32) of the adjusting nut (9). The blocking slide (15) touches the cylindrical face (37) of the adjusting nut (9) in the tilted position. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to an arm bearing for an articulated arm awning with a support bracket that can be clamped to a support part and a support bracket that can be tilted about a substantially horizontal axis in the event of failure, on which an articulated arm is pivotably mounted about an axis oriented transversely to the tilting axis, the support bracket and the support bracket are coupled by a coupling rod with thread and adjusting nut, which allows and limits the tilting movement, and wherein a locking slide is coupled to the gel arm, which can be moved transversely to the axis of the coupling rod and locks it in the failure position.

An arm bearing of the type mentioned is known from DE-PS 32 06 963. There the coupling rod has a stop profile which on the one hand limits the tilting movement and which on the other hand is gripped by the locking slide in the locked position. This requires a very complicated and precise machining of the locking profile and the locking slide, which requires a profiled receptacle. The stop slide or another adjusting element is encompassed by the locking slide which is arranged cooxially to the same.

The object of the invention is such a design of the arm bearing that the function of the stop is independent of the locking slide and that an easily manufactured locking slide can be used.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the adjusting nut is designed as a cylindrical body with a threaded passage in the radial direction, that a cylinder segment socket is provided as a receptacle for the cylindrical surface of the adjusting nut and that the slide contacts the cylindrical surface of the adjusting nut in the tilted position.

The invention differs from the prior art in that than the gate valve is a part with a constant cross-section. in the simplest case, it is a drawn rod or wire. In this case, mechanical processing of the gate valve is not necessary at all. The adjusting nut has a cylinder profile that is held in a cylinder segment socket in the tilted position. The rod lies against the cylinder surface of the adjusting nut approximately opposite the cylinder segment socket, so that the adjusting nut is held in a form-fitting manner between the rod and the cylinder segment socket. It is easily possible to turn the adjusting nut when the awning is tilted, but the lock, ie the anti-kickback device, remains secured.

The coupling rod is held in a form-fitting manner and the rotation thereof is not impaired by the fact that a bolt with a transverse passage and a receptacle for a round head of the coupling rod is formed within the support frame.

The actuation of the coupling rod is easily possible in that an actuating device for the thread is provided in the foot of the coupling rod. The actuating device is expediently designed as a slot.

Securing the set inclination is possible in that the adjusting nut has a cross hole for a clamping screw.

So that the coupling rod is guided and supported during the tilting movement and in the folded-up position, it is provided that a support leg is provided on the bearing block for supporting the adjusting nut.

A straight guide of the locking disc is ensured in that the articulated arm has a link guide for a coupling pin of the locking slide.

Uninhibited guidance is achieved in that the link guide has a keyhole-shaped profile.

  • Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 1 und
An embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawings, in which:
  • 1 is a side view of an arm bearing, partially sectioned,
  • Fig. 2 is a plan view of Fig. 1 and
  • Fig. 3 is a side view of the arm bearing in the tilted state.

Fig. 1 shows a square support tube 1 for an awning. The arm bearings are arranged on this four-sided support tube 1, wherein a support bracket engages around the support tube 1 and is clamped to the same. The trestle 2 can also on another Tragkon structure are attached, e.g. B. a console or a support profile.

The support bracket 2 receives a substantially horizontally arranged pin 3 as a tilt axis, on which a bearing bracket 4 is arranged tiltable. The bearing block 4 is further coupled to the support block 2 by a coupling rod 5 which permits and limits the tilting movement of the bearing block 4. The coupling rod 5 is seated with a round head 6 in a receptacle 38 of a bolt 7. The receptacle 38 is composed of a transverse passage and a ball socket. The bolt 7 is guided in the side eyes 31 of the trestle 2.

The coupling rod 5 has a thread 8 which engages in an internal thread of an adjusting nut 9. The adjusting nut 9 is designed as a cylinder body with a cylindrical surface 32 and a threaded passage in the radial direction. The adjusting nut 9 is guided between walls 33 of the bearing block 4. In the foot surface of the coupling rod 5, an actuating device 34 is provided, which is designed, for example, as an actuating slot and enables the coupling rod 5 to be rotated for a spindle-like displacement within the adjusting nut 9, in order thereby to limit the tilting movement. A threaded hole for a clamping screw 10 is provided within the adjusting nut 9 in order to secure the inclination setting.

The bearing block 4 has a passage 14, the end face of which is designed as a cylindrical segment socket 35. The diameter of this cylinder segment socket 35 is equal to the outer diameter of the cylinder surface 32 of the adjusting nut 9, so that the adjusting nut can move in the cylinder segment socket. In Fig. 1 the cross section of the cylinder segment socket 32 is extended to a circular line 37. Aligned with the passage 14, a support leg 11 is provided, on which the adjusting nut 9 slides and is supported in the retracted position of the awning.

A passage 36 with a circular cross section extends through the walls 33 of the trestle 4. The cross-sectional line of the passage 36 touches the circular line 37 determined by the cylinder segment socket 35 and covered by the adjusting nut 9 in the tilted position. This ensures that the cylindrical surface 32 of the adjusting nut 9 and the outer surface of the rod 15 touch each other in the locked tilted position.

The bearing block 4 has a passage 36 with a circular profile, this passage 36 through both walls 33 of the bearing block 4 passed through. Within the passage 36, a rod 15 is slidable, which serves as a locking slide. In the simplest case, the rod 15 is a drawn or a rolled round profile. The rod 15 engages with a coupling pin 16 in a link guide 17 in an extension 18 of an articulated arm 20. The articulated arm 20 is pivotally mounted in the bearing block 4 via a bearing pin 19, so that the articulated arm 20 can be pivoted back between the default position shown in solid lines in FIG. 2 and the retracted position shown in broken lines. The link guide 17 has a keyhole-shaped profile, so that the rod 15 can be guided in a straight line during the failure movement of the articulated arm 20.

Die Stellmutter 9 ist von der Zylinderpfanne 35 abgehoben und liegt auf dem Tragschenkel 11.1 and 2 show the arm bearing in the retracted position, the retracted position being shown in dash-dotted lines in FIG. 2. The rod 15 is retracted far to the right so that it does not protrude into the cut between the walls 33 and into the area of the adjusting nut 9. The coupling rod 5 is pivotally held within the bolt 7. The adjusting nut 9 is lifted off the cylinder socket 35 and lies on the support leg 11.

When the awning is extended by the rotation of the fabric shaft, the bearing block 4 tilts around the pin 3 very quickly into the position according to FIG. 2. The adjusting nut 9 comes into engagement with the cylinder segment socket 35 so that the tilting movement of the bearing block 4 is limited. The rod 15 is withdrawn from the area of the adjusting nut 4, so that the movement of the adjusting nut 9 and the coupling rod 5 is easily possible. As soon as the articulated arms 20 pivot into the dropout position when the cloth is extended further, the rod 15, relative to FIG. 2, is shifted to the left into the position shown in solid lines. The rod 15 moves past the circumferential surface of the adjusting nut 9 and also engages in the opposite wall 33. The adjusting nut 9 is thus held on its peripheral surface or cylindrical surface 32 so that it can no longer evade. On the one hand it lies in the cylinder segment socket 35 and on the other hand it is blocked by the rod 15 on its rear side. This ensures a secure non-return check. However, the interlocking profile surfaces are very easy to machine. The rod only acts on the adjusting nut 9. Reaching around the coupling rod 5 is not necessary. Both the adjusting nut 9 and the rod 15 only have cylinder surfaces that are easy to edit. The rod 15 itself can be a drawn or rolled profile, in particular a round profile, the outer surface of which does not require machining.

The adjusting nut is held and secured on its cylindrical surface on the one hand by the cylinder segment socket 35 and on the other hand by the rod 15, the rod 15 serving as a backstop protection. Reaching around and holding the coupling rod 5 is not necessary.

When adjusting the inclination by rotating the coupling rod 5 with the aid of the actuating device 34, the adjusting nut 9 can rotate freely within the cylinder segment socket 35 because it can move past the rod 15. The invention thus enables simple adjustment of the inclination in the extended state. The rod 15 is inevitably moved when extending and retracting the articulated arms. The arm bearing has a large swivel range. The illustrated embodiment enables a swivel range of approximately 45 °. By repositioning the trestle 2 on the support tube, you can easily achieve a swivel range of 90 °. The lock itself is not very susceptible to faults, since it is caused by a rod. The rod is coupled with a slide guide. Easy accessibility is also guaranteed here.

Due to its simplified construction, the arm bearing can be manufactured inexpensively, so that it has a wide range of applications. You can also equip awnings without a box with a tilt arm bearing. As is well known, the tilt arm bearing offers the advantage that the awning can be brought close to the holder when retracted.
