- Irritant agent cartridge or projectile consisting of a charge shell, possibly a detonating cap, a heating composition, possibly an igniter and an irritant agent, such as chloroacetophenone (CN), chlorobenzylidenemalonic acid dinitrile (CS) or dibenzoxazepin (CR), characterised by the following featuresa) the irritant agent charge (1) is present in separate containers (3) provided with a protective layer (2);b) the irritant agent charge (1) consists of a melted or pasty active material introduced into the containers (3) in flowable state;c) the containers (3) rest on the heating composition (4) or on the igniter (5) and are covered by a perforated disc (6) and held by means of this in the cartridge or in the projectile.
- Irritant agent cartridge according to claim 1, characterised in that several containers (3) are arranged in a circle on the heating composition (4) or the igniter (5).
- Irritant agent cartridge according to claim 1, characterised in that the container (3) has the form of a cake mould and preferably possesses as ignition canal an opening (7) in the middle just like the perforated disc.

- Irritant agent cartridge according to at least one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the protective layer (2) consists of inhibitor, preferably of paraffin, or is a foil seal.
- Irritant agent cartridge according to at least one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the cartridge casing (8) is crimped above the perforated disc (6), whereby the crimping (9) lies on the perforated disc (6) and holds the pyrotechnical composition in press fit.
