Claims (10)

  1. Dispensing device with automatic closure for a container containing a liquid or pasty product to be dispensed, including a membrane (M) in the form of a dome (5) which is convex outwards covering one outlet end (3) of the container (2), at least one slit (8) provided towards the top of the dome (5) of the membrane (M) and exhibiting a long dimension, the said slit (8) being bounded by edges (8a, 8b) extending parallel to this long dimension and capable of coming into contact against one another to produce a sealed closure at rest, and of separating to leave a passage for the product when sufficient pressure is transmitted to the product; and a rigid capsule (9) designed to be fixed onto that end (3) of the container (2), which is equipped with the membrane (M), and to partially cover over the dome (5) in a region surrounding the slit (8) which remains uncovered; characterized in that projecting bearing means (A) are provided over at least one of the two surfaces made up of the inside surface (13) of the capsule (9) and the outside surface (14) of the membrane (M), and the said inside surface (13) of the capsule is capable of matching the outside surface (14) of the membrane (M) in the free state, disregarding the abovementioned bearing means (A), the whole being such that when the rigid capsule (9) has been fitted onto the container (2) the action of the bearing means (A) gives rise to a deformation of the dome (5) of the membrane (M) and a leaktight application of the edges (8a, 8b) of the slit (8) against one another.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the slit (8) is obtained from moulding with the membrane (M) so that the edges (8a, 8b) of the slit, when the membrane is in the free state, are slightly separated from one another, the deformation brought about by the abovementioned bearing means (A), once the rigid capsule (9) has been fitted, being sufficient to apply the edges of the slit against each other in a sealed manner.
  3. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the bearing means (A) are made of two bosses (15, 16), the shape of which is a portion of a sphere having its centre situated in the mid-plane perpendicular to the length of the slit (8).
  4. Device according to Claim 3, characterized in that the bosses (15, 16) are symmetrical with respect to the diametral plane (P) containing the length of the slit (8).
  5. Device according to Claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the bosses (15, 16) are provided on the membrane (M) and are obtained directly from moulding with this membrane, the said bosses (15, 16) having their convexity pointing radially outwards.
  6. Device according to one of Claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the dome (5) formed by the membrane is spherical and the internal surface (13) of the rigid capsule is a spherical concave surface with the same radius as the dome (5), disregarding the bosses (15, 16).
  7. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the membrane (M) is produced in an elastomer the Shore hardness of which lies below 60 Shore A and more particularly close to 20 Shore A.
  8. Device according to Claim 7, characterized in that the material of the membrane (M) is of the EPDM family.
  9. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the outlet end of the container includes an endpiece (3) equipped with an outside screw thread (10) whereas the rigid capsule (9) includes a sleeve (11) provided with a complementary internal screw thread capable of interacting with the screw thread on the end piece in order to hold the capsule, the said capsule (9) including a coaxial cylindrical skirt (18) situated radially between the dome (5) and the sleeve (11), so as to come into abutment against a shoulder (19) of the container when the capsule has been screwed on.
  10. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the capsule (9) is equipped with a cap (24) articulated to a contour zone of the capsule, particularly by a film hinge (21), this cap (24) creating in the closed position a second sealing barrier and preventing any dispensing of product through pressure on the container.
