Claims (6)

  1. Built-in vapour extractor hood (10) for mounting into a base opening (30) of an item of furniture, such as a hanging cupboard or the like, with a housing (11), which is surrounded in at least a portion thereof by a framelike attachment (12) and equipped with outwardly projecting detent elements at a spacing from the rear side of the attachment (12), characterised thereby, that the detent elements are formed as resilient detent lugs (18), which display a bearing point and are pivotable about this bearing point and which on insertion of the housing (11) in the base opening (30) are urged back by the rims thereof and in their pivoted-out initial position detent self-lockingly at the upper edge (29) of the base opening (30) after their exit.
  2. Built-in vapour extractor hood according to claim 1, characterised thereby, that the detent lug (18) is formed by a bent-over leaf spring (20) with differently long limbs (21, 22), which are curved in opposite sense and the longer one of which is anchored by its free end lying tangentially against the housing (11), whilst the shorter limb (22) is directed by its free end towards the housing (11).
  3. Built-in vapour extractor hood according to claim 2, characterised thereby, that the longer limb (21) is provided at its free end with a U-shaped bent portion (23) serving for the anchoring of the free end at the housing (11) and lies above a depression (26), which is stamped into the housing wall (17) and into which it can pivot resiliently when the detent lug (18) is urged back against its spring stress.
  4. Built-in vapour extractor hood according to one of the preceding claims, characterised thereby, that the housing wall (17) is provided with a passage (27), into which the shorter limb (22), which is provided at its free end with a bent-over portion (24), can enter, wherein the passage (27) is so dimensioned that its rim serves as abutment for the bent-over portion (24).
  5. Built-in vapour extractor hood according to claim 4, characterised thereby, that the shorter limb (22), which enters into the passage (27), of the detent lug (18) is additionally provided at its free end with a strap (34), which projects far into the housing (11) and serves as handle for disengaging the detent lug (18).
  6. Built-in vapour extractor hood according to one of the preceding claims, characterised thereby, that the housing (11) is retained in the base opening (30) to be adjustable and fixable in known manner in the final installed position by fastening means.
