In Fig. 1 ist ein Briefkorbstapel mit zwei gleich ausgebildeten Briefkörben 10' und 10'' gezeigt, die einen an der Unterseite geriffelten und an der Oberseite glatten Boden 12, zwei den Boden seitlich begrenzende Seitenwände 14, 16, eine die Seitenwände 14, 16 an ihrem rückwärtigen Ende miteinander verbindende Rückwand 18 sowie vier am Boden nach unten weisende, paarweise in der Nähe der linken und der rechten Seitenwand 14, 16 angeordnete Fußteile 20 aufweisen. Die Oberkante 26 der linken Seitenwand 14 ist relativ schmal ausgebildet und weist auf der Korbaußenseite einen gekrümmten Hinterschnitt 27 auf. Dagegen ist im Bereich der Oberkante 28 der rechten Seitenwand 16 ein sich über die gesamte Länge der Seitenwand erstreckender, nach außen überstehender Rand 30 angeformt. Die Hinterschnitte 27, 27' im Bereich der äußeren Führungsrippen 54 und der Oberkante 26 sorgen in der senkrechten Ausrichtung des Distanzschenkels 42 für eine gewisse Rastwirkung, die ein versehentliches Abheben des Distanzstücks von der Seitenwand 14 verhindert.
Beim rechten Distanzstück 42 sind die äußeren Führungsrippen 54' an einem Ausleger 58 angeformt, der sich flächig auf dem verbreiterten Rand 30 im Bereich der Oberkante 28 der rechten Seitenwand 16 abstützt. Stackable letter trays according to claim 10, characterized in that the distance limb (50) with its inner surface forms a tangent surface which delimits the outer-lying apex of the circular openings (62).
Stackable letter trays according to claim 10 or 11, characterized in that the feet (20) have a cup-shaped or annular cavity which is open in a downward direction for receiving a downward-projecting elastomer insert.
Stackable letter trays according to one of claims 10 to 12, characterized by a respective supporting cam (65), which externally adjoins the root of the feet (20) and is supportable with its base-side supporting surface (66) on the top edge (26, 28) of the distance limb (14, 16) of the distance piece (40, 42).
Stackable letter trays according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the broadened edge (30) has an obliquely downward-directed bent portion (64) which is simultaneously designed as a front stop for the distance piece (42).
