Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Handbandschleifmaschine mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Anspruchs 1.The invention relates to a hand belt grinding machine with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

A generic hand belt grinding machine with drive and deflection roller and with an automatic belt run centering is described in EP-A-0 007172. A sensor with a lever system for pivoting the deflection roller is mounted on the housing of the known hand-held belt grinder. The storage is near the pulley.

Hand belt sanding machines have the peculiarity that the rotating sanding belt migrates laterally depending on the load and direction. The belt run centering is intended to ensure the correct match of the center of the sanding belt to the center of the drive or. Secure the pulley tread. As soon as the sanding belt moves transversely to the direction of rotation, it hits the closely spaced sensor with a belt edge. The sensor acts on the pulley via the lever system. This is moved from its position parallel to the drive roller in such a way that the belt is again directed into the center of the roller circumference.

Disadvantages of the known belt run centering are their complex, multi-articulated construction with susceptibility to vibrations and contamination as well as the high wear both on the lever system for belt run centering and on the grinding belt to be centered. Another disadvantage is the necessary adjustment of the known tape centering depending on e.g. wear-related elongation of the sanding belt or due to differences in length of different sanding belts when changing.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

Hand belt sanding machines with the features of claim 1 have the advantage of a simple, robust and reliable construction with reduced wear both on the centering device and on the sanding belt. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained below in the description with the associated drawing. 1 shows a View of a hand belt sander from below, Figure 2 is a side view and Figure 3 is a separate embodiment of the guide roller.

Beschreibung der AusführungsbeispieleDescription of the embodiments

Figure 1 shows a hand belt grinder 1 with a motor, not shown in detail. The hand-held belt grinder 1 has a housing 2 which on the one hand receives an axis 3 with a drive roller 4 and on the other hand a guide plate 5. A control plate 6 with a fork-shaped end for receiving an axis 7 of a deflection roller 8 is mounted on this. The control plate 6 is pivotably held on the guide plate 5 via a pivot axis 9, or 10, which is designed as a joint. The guide plate 5 is guided in guide grooves 11 of the housing 2 to be displaceable transversely to the axes 3, 7.

The control plate 6 ends on its side facing away from the fork-shaped end in a lever arm 12 shown - grinding plate 19 guided grinding belt 14 is positioned near the drive roller 4. The start-up part 12 ′ is rotatably mounted around a clamping screw 15 with eccentric bolt 16 on the lever arm 12 and is adjustable relative to the open edge 13 via the eccentric bolt 16. A compression spring 17 is supported on one side in the area of the guide grooves 11 on the housing 2 and on the other side in a step-shaped area of the guide plate 5. In addition to the compression spring 17, a further compression spring 18 can be supported between the end of the guide plate 5 on the drive roller side and the lever arm 12. The deflection roller 8 carries two O-rings 20 on its circumference off-center, on the side of the run-up part 12 '.

The side view of the hand-held belt grinding machine 1 shown in FIG. 2 illustrates the position of the lever arm 12 with the run-on part 12 'to the sanding belt 14 and the sanding plate 19. In addition, the position of the guide plate 5 is at approximately half the height of the drive and deflection rollers 4, 8 and above them the position of the motor shown.

The exemplary embodiment in FIG. 3 shows a guide roller 28 which, on its circumference, instead of the two O-rings 20 according to FIG. 1, laterally carries a bead 40 which is molded into the roller material.

The belt centering and related processes on the hand belt sander 1 are described below:
The motor drives the drive roller 4. This transfers the rotary motion required for grinding to the grinding belt 14 and thus to the deflection roller 8, 28. With the side of the grinding plate 19, the hand belt grinding machine 1 is placed on a surface to be ground and held. The abrasive belt 14 sliding over this surface causes the surface to be removed.

With transverse movements of the hand belt grinding machine 1 during grinding, it can happen that the grinding belt 14 runs in the viewing direction, for example to the left on the rollers 4, 8 or 28. The left outer edge 13 meets the run-up part 12 'of the lever arm 12 and moves it to the left. This left movement causes a movement of the control plate 6 in the same direction about the pivot axis 9 or 10. The fork-shaped end of the control plate 6 pivots with the deflection roller 8, 28 as a result of this movement to the right about the pivot axis 9 or 10 28 the grinding belt 14 is guided against its transverse movement to the right. As soon as the grinding belt 14 assumes its corrected position, the start-up part 12 'is relieved. As a result, the lever arm 12 pivots with the control plate 6 about the pivot axis 9 or 10 to the right and thus the fork-shaped end of the Control plate 6 about the pivot axis 9 or 10 to the left in the starting position.

The axes 3, 7 bind adjusted so that there is a defined, leftward, slight oversteering tendency of the grinding belt 14, so that the latter constantly oscillates slightly towards and away from the start-up part 12 '. This tendency to oversteer can be varied by the dimensioning of the additional compression spring 18 or by the arrangement of the O-rings 20 or the bead 40 on the deflection roller 8 or 28 or by the alternative, off-center pivot axis 10. If the transverse movement of the grinding belt 14 is influenced by external influences, e.g. when cross-grinding with the hand belt grinding machine, stronger, the above-described restoring effect is also increased.

A transverse movement of the grinding belt in the viewing direction to the right is automatically compensated for due to the tendency to oversteer to the left.

28 weg von der Antriebsrolle 4.The compression springs 17, 18 are means for tensioning the grinding belt 14, which is necessary for operation, and exert a force on the deflection roller 8 or 28 away from the drive roller 4.

Hohlkehlen. The eccentric pin 16, with which the run-on part 12 'can be adjusted parallel to the axes 3, 7, allows the grinding belt 14 to be shifted to the right into a changed centering position, in particular in the viewing direction. As a result, the sanding belt 14 projects with its outer edge 13 beyond the right outer edge of the hand belt sanding machine or the sanding plate 19. This enables a particularly precise and fine, flush finishing of stepped surfaces or fillets.

The closely adjacent position of the run-up part 12 'to the drive roller 4 near the sanding plate 19 results in a particularly quickly responding control mode, because the transverse displacement of the sanding belt 14 begins first in this area. The inertia of the control loop is thus significantly reduced, because the transverse displacement already controls itself when the transverse displacement occurs.
