Description

Durch die US-A-18 43 048 ist ein gattungsgemäßes Farbwerk für eine Tiefdruck-Rotationsdruckmaschine bekannt geworden. Das Farbwerk besteht aus einer heb- und senkbaren Farbwanne, einem Formzylinder, einer Einfärbewalze, die an einem Hebel drehbar gelagert ist und in Rollkontakt mit dem Formzylinder steht. Hierbei ist die Einfärbewalze so angeordnet, daß sie in einem unteren, der Druckfarbe zugewandten Mantelteil des Formzylinders, in Rollkontakt bringbar ist. Über den Hebel ist eine Kraft einleitbar, so daß die Einfärbewalze an den Formzylinder gedrückt werden kann. Die Einfärbewalze ist in einem seitlichen Abstand von einer senkrechten Ebene, die durch die Rotationsachse des Formzylinders geht, angeordnet. Die mit der Erfindung erzielbaren Vorteile bestehen u. a. auch darin, daß ein konstanter Anpreßdruck (kp/m²) der Einfärbewalze an den Formzylinder auch bei einer großen Formatvariabilität des Formzylinders (z. B. kleinster Durchmesser zu größtem Durchmesser, wie 1:2) eingestellt und gehalten werden kann. Es kann im Rahmen der Konstruktionsvorgaben die Eintauchtiefe des Formzylinders verändert werden, ohne daß sich der Anpreßdruck der Einfärbewalze an den Formzylinder unbeeinflußbar verändert. In eine randvoll mit Tiefdruckfarbe 1 gefüllte Farbwanne 2 tauchen eine Einfärbewalze 3 und ein Formzylinder 4 ein. Der Formzylinder 4 taucht in vorwählbarer Tiefe z. B. wenige Zentimeter in die Tiefdruckfarbe 1 ein (Eintauchtiefe T). Die Einfärbewalze 3, die keinen eigenen Antrieb hat, taucht je nach Durchmesser des Formzylinder 4 z. B. mit 5/6 oder bis zu ihrem ganzen Durchmesser in die Tiefdruckfarbe 1 ein. Die Einfärbewalze 3 ist auf ihrer Mantelfläche mit einem Textilbezug überzogen und steht seitlich beabstandet z. B. rechts (Abstand 12) von einer senkrechten Ebene durch die Rotationsachse 11 des Formzylinders 4 unten in Reibkontakt mit dem Mantel des Formzylinders 4. Die Einfärbewalze 3 ist in jeweils einem ersten Ende 10 eines einarmigen Hebelarmes 5 und einem ersten Ende 7 eines abgewinkelten zweiarmigen Hebelarmes 6, der über die linke Wand der Farbwanne 2 hinausragen, drehbar gelagert. Über einen Zapfen 9 und Gabelkopf ist eine einseitige Kolbenstange 13 eines einfachwirkenden Zylinders 14 mit einem zweiten Ende 8 des zweiarmigen Hebelarmes 6 gelenkig verbunden. Der Zylinder 14 kann über einen Anschluß 15 auf der Stangenseite mittels eines pneumatischen oder hydraulischen Mediums mit Druck beaufschlagt werden. Der Druck kann über nicht dargestellte Druckquellen (Kompressor, Pumpe) und Handventile bzw. Druckminderer eingestellt werden. Ein Gegenlager des Zylinders 14 ist mit einem Tragstück 16 gelenkig verbunden. Claims (3)
- Inking unit for an intaglio rotary printing machine, having an ink trough (2), a forme cylinder (4), an inking roller (3) which is rotatably mounted on a lever (5, 6) and can be brought into rolling contact with the forme cylinder (4) in a lower part of the outer casing facing the ink, it being possible to exert on the lever (5, 6) a force which presses the inking roller (3) against the forme cylinder (4), the inking roller (3) being arranged at a lateral spacing (12) from a perpendicular plane through the axis of rotation (11) of the forme cylinder (4), characterized in that a pivot bearing (19) of the lever (5, 6) is arranged to be fixed to the ink trough, in that a working cylinder (13, 14, 15) which is arranged to be fixed to the ink trough and can be acted upon by variable pressure is provided in operative connection with the lever (5, 6), and in that the ink trough (2) is vertically adjustable for the purpose of dipping the forme cylinder (4) into the ink at a pre-selectable depth, both the forme cylinder (4) and the inking roller (3) dipping into the ink in the operating position.
