dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stege als Schwalbenschwanz-Führungsstege (44) ausgebildet sind, die mit mindestens einer Verzahnung (42,43) versehen sind, daß jeder Tragarm (20) aus zwei schalenförmigen Tragarmhälften (21,22) zusammengesetzt ist und der Quertraverse (11) zugekehrt eine kreisbogenförmige, konkav gewölbte Teil-Schwalbenschwanz-Führungsnut (23,24) bildet, die den Schwalbenschwanz-Führungssteg (44) umschließt und den Tragarm (20) verschwenkbar an dem Schwalbenschwanz-Führungssteg (44) festlegt, und daß jeder Tragarm (20) einen selbsthemmenden, mittels einer Antriebswelle (38) antreibbaren Antrieb aufnimmt, der mittels mindestens eines Abtriebszahnrades (40,41) mit der Verzahnung (42,43) des Schwalbenschwanz-Führungssteges (44) im Eingriff steht.

Arbeits- oder Bürotisch nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen den beiden Abtriebszahnrädern (40,41) ein Schneckenrad (39) auf der Abtriebswelle (38) drehfest angeordnet ist, welches mit einer auf einer in den Tragarmhälften (21,22) drehbar gelagerten Schneckenwelle (35) drehfest aufgebrachten Schnecke (40) im Eingriff steht, daß die Schneckenwelle (35) drehfest ein Zahnriemenrad (46) trägt, das über einen endlosen Zahnriemen (34) mit einem Antriebs-Zahnriemenrad (33) in Wirkverbindung steht, und daß das Antriebs-Zahnriemenrad (33) drehfest auf der Antriebswelle (30) sitzt, die im Bereich des der Arbeitsplatte zugekehrten Endes des Tragarmes (20) drehbar gelagert und von der Außenseite des Tragarmes (20) aus zugänglich ist. 4.
