- Office furniture combinations of this type are known from DE-U-75 17 546 and GB-A-20 25 211.
- a simple plug-in connection which is secured by screws, split pins or the like, or a snap-in connection with snap-in bolts and snap-in receptacles is generally selected.
- these connections are not easy to produce or are not stable enough.
- a coupling element which is designed as a Z-shaped angle piece, is flatly attached to the underside of the crossbar with one leg and the office furniture to be attached, for example a connecting plate, with a leg protruding from the crossbar. wearing.
- the leg of the connecting plate Provide angled piece with upstanding bolts that are inserted into corresponding blind holes on the underside of the connecting plate.
- the receptacles are introduced into the end faces of the cross members, that the receptacles of the cross members bear rotatably mounted locking bolts, that the locking bolts protrude with eccentric locking heads or with protruding clamping bolts on both ends of the coupling elements, and that by turning the locking bolts into the receptacles of the crossbeams inserted locking heads or locking bolts clamp themselves in it or reach behind the receptacles in the cross members and thus clamp the cross members on the coupling element and against each other.
- the coupling element forms a separate unit, which can be connected directly to the receptacles or clamping bolts on the end faces of the cross members, whereby a firm connection is always achieved.
- the locking bolts can be used both crosswise and along the locking bolts. This only depends on whether the locking heads clamp in the holder or clamp and lock behind the holder. Locking the clamping bolts in the coupling element is also achieved by adjusting the clamping blocks in the coupling elements of a different design. Both the rotation of the locking bolts and the adjustment of the clamping blocks can be easily carried out without tools.

- the rotation of the locking bolts is accomplished in that the end parts and the supporting bolts are provided with slots running partially over their circumference, via which access to blind hole receptacles is given in the locking bolts and that a lever is introduced through the slot, which is L-shaped and with its end captive, but is rotatably held in the blind hole of the locking bolt.
- the free end faces of the crossbeams which are either provided with receptacles or clamping bolts, are covered with cover elements according to a further embodiment.
- the receptacles or the clamping bolts can also be used to fix the cover elements.
- the crossbar 11 connects the upper ends of the two table legs 12. At the lower ends of the table legs 12, the short foot elements 13 are attached to the rear and the long foot elements 14 to the front.
- guides 19 for the articulated and pivotable attachment of the four support arms 15 are attached to the longitudinal edges of the crossbar 11, which has an approximately elongated outer shape. The height and the inclination of the worktop, not shown, can be changed via these support arms 15.
- the two guide rails 18 are attached, which are aligned parallel to one another and run from the front to the back. Slides are adjustably guided in these guide rails 18, on which the free ends of the support arms 15 are articulated by means of their articulated axes 17.
- the support arms 15 are coupled in pairs by the coupling rods 18 and can each be pivoted together. In this way, only the front or only the back of the worktop can be raised or lowered. If all four support arms are swiveled equally and together, the height of the worktop changes, while maintaining a preset inclination.
- a further cross member 11 ' is connected to the left end face of the cross member 11 by means of the coupling element 20.
- This crossbar 11 ' can be part of another office table or another office furniture.
- the right end face of the crossbar 11 is covered by the cover element 60.
- FIG. 2 shows the coupling of two office tables.
- the table legs 12 and 12 'of the two office tables connect directly and the worktops 19 and 19' are at a distance from each other, which is given by the dimension of the coupling element 20 in the longitudinal direction of the crossbeams 11 and 11 '.
- the worktops 19 and 19 ' are connected to the crossbars 11 and 11' via the pivotable support arms 15 and 15 '.
- the table legs 12 and 12 ' can also be connected to the cross members 11 and 11' in such a way that the same space is created between them as between the worktops 19 and 19 '.
- the basic element of the coupling element 20 is the cast part shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, which consists of the two semicircular end parts 24 and 25 and the connecting web 21.
- the end parts 24 and 25 have a flattened through bore 27 for the non-rotatable receiving of support bolts 30, as can be seen in FIG. 4.
- a cover 22 can be pivotally mounted here. As shown in FIG. 3, this cover 22 closes the cable duct 28. If the structure of the cross members 11 and 11 'is the same, there is a continuous cable duct which is not interrupted at the coupling points either.
- the support bolts 30 protrude on both sides of the coupling element 20 and have an eccentric through hole 31, in which the locking bolt 33 is rotatably mounted.
- the eccentricities of the through bores 31 are each shifted to the longitudinal edges, as can be seen in FIG. 4, the cut part with the axis of rotation 32.
- the ends 39 of the locking bolts 33 carry the locking heads 34 and 35, which are fixed non-rotatably, as the section according to FIG. 8 shows.
- slots 26 are made centrally in the end parts 24 and 25, which extend over part of the circumference of the support bolts 30 and continue in this.
- L-shaped levers 40 are introduced via these slots 26 and the locking bolts 33 are held captive in blind hole receptacles 38, but are freely rotatable, as shown in FIG. 10. With these levers 40, the locking bolts 33 can be rotated, the slots 26 guiding the lever 40. In the relaxed position, which corresponds to the insertion position, the round locking heads 34 and 35 close off with the outer contour of the support bolts 30, as shown in FIG. 4 by the right support bolts 30 and locking bolts 33. Therefore, the support bolt 30 with the locking bolt 33 and its locking heads 34 and 35 can be easily inserted into a receptacle in the end face of the crossbar 11 or 11 '.
- the locking bolt 33 assumes its clamping position, in which the locking heads 34 and 35 protrude on the inside above the supporting bolts 30, as can be seen in the left part of FIG. 4.
- the locking heads 34 and 35 can clamp the locking bolts 33 in the receptacle such that the two crossbeams 11 and 11' are firmly connected to one another via the coupling element 20.
- the crossbeams 11 and 11 ' are pulled towards one another and braced on the coupling element 20 and locked.
- the coupling of the two crossbeams 11 and 11 ' is thus significantly improved since the clamping curves of the locking heads 34 and 35 partially engage behind the receptacles, which are aligned with the through bores 27 in the end parts 24 and 25. This can be seen in Fig. 3 in the left part, where the locking head 35 partially protrudes through the through hole 27.
- the two locking bolts 33 of the coupling element 20 only need to be brought into the relaxed position. Then the locking bolts 33 with their locking heads 34 and 35 can be pulled out of the receptacles of the cross members 11 and 11 '.
- the receptacles in the crossbeams 11 and 11 ' can also be arranged and designed such that they also accommodate the portions of the support bolts 30 which protrude from the base element.
- the locking bolt 33 can be held in the coupling element 20 with the clamping lever 40.
- the lever 40 is inserted through the slot 26 in the coupling element 20 into a bore thereof and fixed therein.
- the mutually abutting cross members 11 and 11 ' are closed on the mutually facing end faces with an insert 60 which has a bearing bore 61 for the locking bolt 33. So that the ends of the locking bolt 33 projecting on both sides of the coupling element 20 with the laterally projecting clamping bolts 64 and 65 can be inserted into the bearing bores 61 of the insert pieces 60, the bearing bore 61 is provided with diametrically arranged longitudinal slots 62 and 63.
- the region around the bearing bore 61 can be designed as a clamping curve 66 or 67.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an office furniture combination of several office furniture, in particular office tables, which have a frame made of a uniform crossbar with lateral legs and which can be connected to one another by means of non-self-standing coupling elements provided with bolts and receptacles, the coupling elements in the outer cross section being adapted to the outer cross section of the crossbars are and have a predetermined, identical dimension in the longitudinal direction of the cross members.
Office furniture combinations of this type are known from DE-U-75 17 546 and GB-A-20 25 211. In these known office furniture combinations, a simple plug-in connection, which is secured by screws, split pins or the like, or a snap-in connection with snap-in bolts and snap-in receptacles is generally selected. However, these connections are not easy to produce or are not stable enough.
From DE-U-82 29 796 a coupling element is known which is designed as a Z-shaped angle piece, is flatly attached to the underside of the crossbar with one leg and the office furniture to be attached, for example a connecting plate, with a leg protruding from the crossbar. wearing. Here, the leg of the connecting plate Provide angled piece with upstanding bolts that are inserted into corresponding blind holes on the underside of the connecting plate. These Z-shaped elbows are not suitable coupling elements to create a firm connection between two identical office tables, since the connection can be unintentionally released at any time by adjusting the attachments in the vertical direction.
As DE-U-77 39 584 shows, it is also known to connect attachments to one another via horizontal plug-in connections made of pins and holes. This connection is also not sufficient for an office furniture combination, since the plug connections are held by frictional engagement alone and an inseparable connection is eliminated in order to be able to change the office furniture combination again at any time.
It is an object of the invention to provide a coupling element for an office furniture combination of the type mentioned at the outset, with which a fixed, but again easily detachable connection between adjacent furniture parts can be produced quickly and easily.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the receptacles are introduced into the end faces of the cross members, that the receptacles of the cross members bear rotatably mounted locking bolts, that the locking bolts protrude with eccentric locking heads or with protruding clamping bolts on both ends of the coupling elements, and that by turning the locking bolts into the receptacles of the crossbeams inserted locking heads or locking bolts clamp themselves in it or reach behind the receptacles in the cross members and thus clamp the cross members on the coupling element and against each other.
The coupling element forms a separate unit, which can be connected directly to the receptacles or clamping bolts on the end faces of the cross members, whereby a firm connection is always achieved. The locking bolts can be used both crosswise and along the locking bolts.
A visually appealing design is achieved in that the cross members and the coupling elements have a cross section in the manner of an elongated hole, the larger dimension being oriented horizontally and in that the dimension of the coupling elements in the longitudinal direction of the cross members to be connected is approximately 25 mm.
If it is provided according to a further embodiment that the coupling elements have two semicircular end parts, which are integrally connected to one another with a connecting web perpendicular to the diameter and can be closed on the opposite side to form a cable duct by means of a cover, then a cable duct can be arranged in the similarly constructed crossbar also be continued across coupling points.
For the rotary mounting of the locking bolts is provided according to an embodiment that through holes are made in the end parts of the coupling elements, in which the support bolts are inserted non-rotatably and protrude on both end faces of the coupling element, and that the locking bolts are rotatably mounted in eccentric through holes of the support bolts.
Is provided according to an embodiment that the locking heads are placed as separate parts eccentrically on the ends of the locking bolt non-rotatably and that the cross-sectionally round locking heads in the relaxed position are flush with the cross-section of the support bolts, while in the clamping position about the eccentricity over one side protrude the support bolt, then can in the In the unclamped position, the locking bolts with their locking heads can be easily pushed into the receptacles of the crossbeams and rotated into the clamping position. The unambiguous position of the support bolts and thus the locking bolts rotatably mounted therein is ensured in that the support bolts are provided with flats and are held non-rotatably in correspondingly flattened receptacles of the cross members and / or the through holes in the end parts of the coupling elements.
The rotation of the locking bolts is accomplished in that the end parts and the supporting bolts are provided with slots running partially over their circumference, via which access to blind hole receptacles is given in the locking bolts and that a lever is introduced through the slot, which is L-shaped and with its end captive, but is rotatably held in the blind hole of the locking bolt.
An additional bracing of the two crossbeams to be connected to one another on the coupling element is obtained in that the locking heads on the end faces facing the supporting bolts are designed as tensioning curves which engage behind a receptacle in an end plate of the crossbeam and pull the crossbeams to be connected towards the coupling element .
The free end faces of the crossbeams, which are either provided with receptacles or clamping bolts, are covered with cover elements according to a further embodiment. The receptacles or the clamping bolts can also be used to fix the cover elements.

The basic structure of a
The
From the
If the
If the receptacle in the end plate of the
If the receptacles in the end plates of the
To release the coupling, the two locking
67 ausgelegt sein.11 and 12 show, the locking
