Es ist selbstverständlich auch möglich, an jeder entsprechenden Achse 20 mehr als eine Andruckrolle 24 drehbar zu lagern. Im zuletzt genannten Fall sind die Andruckrollen 24 an der zugehörigen Achse 20 vorzugsweise voneinander beabstandet angeordnet. Hierbei kann der Abstand zwischen den einzelnen Andruckrollen auch einstellbar sein. Die drehbare Lagerung der/jeder Andruckrolle 24 auf der Achse 20 erfolgt mittels an sich bekannter Wälzlager 26. Zur axialen Festlegung der Andruckrolle 24 dienen Plattenelemente 28, durch welche sich die entsprechende Achse 20 hindurcherstreckt, und die miteinander verbunden und an der entsprechenden Wippe 16 befestigt sind. Claims (7)
- Device for applying an embossing foil impression on a flexible material web having a heatable embossing roller (12) and having at least one nip roller (24), by means of which embossing foil and material web can be pressed against each other and against the surface (44) of the embossing roller (12), characterized in that the/each nip roller (24), for the specific setting of the spacing of the corresponding nip roller (24) relative to the embossing roller surface (44) and thus for the specific setting of the pressure exerted by the nip roller (24) on the embossing foil and the material web, has a pair of spacing rings (38) which are provided on the two mutually separated end sections of an axle (20) on which the corresponding nip roller (24) is supported, the spacing rings (38) being eccentrically supported on the corresponding axle (20); and in that the axial width of the/each nip roller (24) is smaller than the axial width of the embossing roller (12).
- Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the two spacing rings (38) of the setting device (32) are supported in each case on an associated eccentric sleeve (30) which is fastened to the axle (20) of the corresponding nip roller (24).
- Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that each setting device (32) has a setting element (50) to be actuated manually.
- Device according to Claim 3, characterized in that the setting element (50) is provided for varying the rotation angle position of the axle (20) of the corresponding nip roller (24) located in the nipping position with respect to the embossing roller (12).
- Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the nip roller (24) is arranged at a spacing from at least one of the spacing rings (38) and a supporting roller (48) is provided in the interspace between the nip roller (24) and the corresponding spacing ring (38), the said supporting roller having a slightly smaller diameter than the nip roller (24).
- Device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the at least one supporting roller (48) has an axial length which is matched to the spacing between the nip roller (24) and the associated spacing ring (38).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, nip rollers (24) spaced apart from each other and arranged with their axes parallel to each other being in each case combined to form nip roller pairs, supported on rockers (16), and arranged in two groups symmetrically to the embossing roller (12); characterized in that in each case only the outermost nip roller (24) of the two nip roller groups has supporting rollers (48) assigned to it.
