Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch gelöst, dass die/jede Andruckrolle mit einer Einstelleinrichtung zur definierten Einstellung des Abstandes der entsprechenden Andruckrolle relativ zur Prägewalzenoberfläche und damit zur definierten Einstellung des von der Andruckrolle auf die Prägefolie und die Materialbahn ausgeübten Drukkes versehen ist. Mit der erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung ist es folglich möglich, durch geeignete Einstellung des Abstandes der entsprechenden Andruckrolle relativ zur Prägewalzenoberfläche in Abhängigkeit von der Wanddicke der flexiblen, zu beprägenden Materialbahn und in Abhängigkeit von der Wanddicke der Prägefolie den Prägedruck zwischen der Prägewalze und der mindestens einen Andruckrolle passend einzustellen, so dass in vorteilhafter Weise auch bei der Beprägung empfindlicher flexibler Materialbahnen wie z.B. Banknotenpapier eine unerwünschte Komprimierung der Papierfasern der Materialbahn und somit eine Veränderung der Papiereigenschaften vermieden wird. dass die/jede Andruckrolle (24) mit einer Einstelleinrichtung (32) zur definierten Einstellung des Abstandes der entsprechenden Andruckrolle (24) relativ zur Prägewalzenoberfläche (44) und damit zur definierten Einstellung des von der Andruckrolle (24) auf die Prägefolie und die Materialbahn ausgeübten Druckes versehen ist.1.
