Claims (3)

  1. Air rifle of tiltable barrel (1), of a customary type, serving as a lever to a hinged levers mechanism (13), designed to compress the spring (2) of the compression chamber (3), likewise of a customary type, mounted on the buttstock, said barrel comprising at its rear end a first sub-assembly (4) which essentially and respectively comprises a passing hole designed to receive a cross pin (5) and a recess (14) housing a catch (6), respectively designed for its articulation and locking on a second sub-assembly (7. 8) constituted by a fork (7) ending in a cylindrical portion (8) made integral with said compression chamber, and with an axial duct (20) extending therethrough having a cylindrical section which communicates with the compression chamber (3), characterised in that said two sub-assemblies (4) and (7, 8) which allow to assure the connection, articulation and centring between, on one side the barrel (1), and on the other side, the compression chamber (3) , of customary type of an air riffle of the hinged barrel type, are obtained each of them by means of a single injection moulding operation namely by injection of a suitable material, namely plastic material of high resistance and mechanical performance, and in that they comprise:
    a) regarding to the first one (4) which is designed to be made integral to the rear part of the barrel (1), forming at the same time a complete casing of the barrel:
    - the opening passage designed for its articulation to the cross pin (5),
    - the recess (14), designed to house the locking catch (6),
    - the opening (12) for connection of a lever of said hinged compression lever mechanism (13),
    - a rear part of said casing leaves a rear part (16) of said barrel protruding thereof;
    b) concerning to the second one (78) designed to be made integral to the front part of the compression chamber (3), adjustable inserted:
    - an opening, at both limbs (7) of the fork designed to the mounting of the articulation cross pin (5);
    - a groove, on the cylindrical portion (8) designed to lodge circular means (9), particularly of O-ring seal type, providing an airtight connection seal;
    - some open passages, through said cylindrical portion (8), and said compression chamber, housing cross locking pins (10) for securing said portion (8) and the end of the stroke of the piston (27) with a spring (2);
    - at the fork bottom (7) between their two parallel fork limbs (18), a flat intermediate face (19), limited by a wall (17) located below an opening where ends said axial duct (20), said wall bearing on the side nearer to said opening a rabbet (17) of half cylindrical shape, centered with respect to said opening, to serve as a support for the barrel (16) rear protruding section, and for axially centring the axis (21) of the barrel body in line with said axial duct (20), and on the opposite side of said opening of the axial duct an inclined plane (22) is situated in front of the locking element (6) in the riffle firing position, said wall (17) being laterally extended by two side profiles (23) that secure the stepped connection with the flat intermediate face (19) and provide the barrel centring and reinforcement functions.
  2. Rifle, according to claim 1, characterised in that the second sub-assembly comprises, on the external surface of the parallel fork limbs, reinforcement ribs (26) extending lengthwise on an area that surrounds the opening passages through which the pivot pin (5) passes serving as articulation of the two parts of the riffle.
  3. Rifle, according to claim 1, characterised in that the axial transfer duct (20), extending through the cylindrical portion of the second sub-assembly emerges at a cylindrical recess (24) located at the bottom of said fork aimed to house a joint (25), also cylindrical, and having a central passage in line of the axial duct (20) communicating with the compression chamber, slightly protruding with respect to the fork bottom.
