  • the second arm 44 of the double-armed lever pivotally receives a rigid piece 45, which in its turn, by means of a pivot pin, is pivotally connected to an attachment in the form of an ear 46 provided with a groove, secured to the thigh supporting member.
  • the rigid link, the double-armed lever and the rigid piece as well as the attachment 46 are preferably two in number and arranged in a mirror symmetry relationship with respect to the central plane of the bed, so that the thigh supporting member is supported by a rigid piece on each verti ⁇ cal wall of the box girder.
  • Fig 6 an embodiment variant with three power means is shown, the first of which not shown is designed and arranged in the same way as the power means 15 shown in for example Fig 2. It is possible to rapidly change from one of these embodiments to the other. This is achieved in the following way: starting from the embodiment shown in Fig 5 the rigid links 41 are removed, which are preferably secured by locking pins to the lever 43 and the first arm 18, respectively. Then the rigid piece 45 is pushed out of its engagement with the attachment 46. When this is done a first attachment member 47 is arranged on the under ⁇ side of the thigh supporting member and a second attachment member 48 is arranged on the underside of the calf supporting member.

Abstract

Aménagement de lit et/ou de chaise qui comprend une base (1) et un ensemble qui forme des surfaces de support, divisé en au moins deux organes, chacun mobile par rapport à l'autre, c'est-à-dire un dossier (7) et au moins un organe de support du siège (8), ledit dossier étant monté par un axe de pivotement (31) sensiblement horizontal par rapport à la base, un moyen d'entraînement (15) étant adapté à la génération d'un mouvement de pivotement dudit dossier (7) par ledit axe de pivotement entre des positions d'inclinaison différentes par rapport à la base. L'axe de pivotement (31) du dossier et l'extrémité de l'organe de support du siège au moins le plus proche peuvent être déplacés réciproquement dans le sens longitudinal de l'aménagement. Un dispositif de transmission est aménagé de manière à faire agir l'organe d'entraînement (15) entre le dossier (7) et l'organe de support du siège pour produire le déplacement mutuel, de sorte que l'axe de pivotement et l'extrémité sont espacés plus loin l'un de l'autre lorsque le dossier est pivoté vers le haut depuis une position sensiblement horizontale à une position plus élevée, et sont plus proches lors du pivotement dans le sens opposé.
