Gemäß der Erfindung wird obige Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß eine Schiene, die einen U-förmigen Querschnitt aufweist, mit ihrer offenen Seite in der Längsnut des Stabs klemmend angeordnet ist, und daß die Schiene in ihrem Stegabschnitt in axialem Abstand voneinander Schlitze aufweist, um mit entsprechende Haken versehene Anbauteile, z.B. Konsolen, Abhängearme oder dergleichen einzuhängen. Der mit einer oder mehreren Längsnuten versehene Stab kann wahlweise als sogenannter Nutprofilstab oder Schlitzstab verwendet werden, wobei in dem zuletzt genannten Fall lediglich die Schiene mit der Schlitzreihe in der Längsnut des Stabes zu befestigen ist, was vorteilhaft durch frontseitiges Einklipsen der Schiene in diese Längsnut erfolgen kann. Bei der Schiene mit der Schlitzreihe handelt es sich also um ein Zusatzelement, daß im Bedarfsfall schnell und einfach mit dem Nutprofilstab kombiniert werden kann.
