  • the present invention relates to a mailer form or similar form or product made from paper, which form or product is intended to be sealed by means of an adhesive or glue applied thereupon. More specifically the invention relates to a mailer form or product of the type which when unfolded is provided with adhesive strips along the outer edges thereof and which is sealed by a folding operation where said adhesive strips are brought into contact with each other. Furthermore, such forms or products are often perforated, which perforations are torn away together with the adhesive sealings when one wishes to study the contents of said sealed products. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacture of a mailer form or similar product of the type referred to above.
  • Mailer forms or other forms of the type referred to above are today well known products as e.g. known from US-A-4 784 317, viz. in the form of separate forms or so called chain forms, which after having been provided with the requisite information are typically sealed by means of form sealing machines known per se. Claims (9)

  1. Versandbrief od.dgl., der aus Papier hergestellt und vorgesehen ist, durch darauf aufgetragenen Klebstoff verschlossen zu werden, insbesondere ein Versandbrief des Typs, der in nicht gefaltetem Zustand mit Klebstoffstreifen längs seiner Aussenkanten versehen ist, wobei die Kanten im allgemeinen perforiert sind und durch Falten verschlossen werden, so dass die genannten Klebstoffstreifen in Berührung miteinander gebracht werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Klebstoffstreifen eine erste, auf das Papier aufgetragene, druckempfindliche Klebstoffschicht und eine zweite, auf die erste Schicht aufgetragene, feuchtigkeitsempfindliche zweite Klebstoffschicht umfassen.
  2. Versandbrief nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der druckempfindliche Klebstoff ein Klebstoff auf Naturkautschukbasis ist.
  3. Versandbrief nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der feuchtigkeitsempfindliche Klebstoff ein Klebstoff auf Ethylen-Vinylacetat-Copolymerisat-Basis ist.
  4. Versandbrief nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er von dem Typ ist, der in Laserdruckern verwendet wird, welche Siliconöl als Reinigungs- und/oder Schmiermittel benutzen.
  5. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Versandbriefs nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass erst das Papier mit einer Schicht aus druckempfindlichem Klebstoff versehen wird und danach eine zweite Schicht aus feuchtigkeitsempfindlichem Klebstoff aufgetragen wird.
  6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die beiden Klebstoffschichten in Form von wässerigen Lösungen aufgetragen werden, vorzugsweise wässerige Lösungen auf Ammoniakbasis mit höchstens 10 Gew.-% Ammoniak.
  7. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 5-6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die beiden Klebstoffschichten durch Radiofrequenztrocknen, vorzugsweise Kurzwellenradiofrequenztrocknen, getrocknet werden.
  8. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 5-7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der druckempfindliche Klebstoff ein Klebstoff auf Naturkautschukbasis ist.
  9. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 5-8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der feuchtigkeitsempfindliche Klebstoff ein Klebstoff auf Ethylen-Vinylacetat-Basis ist.
