Description

The invention relates to a locking device for mechanically switching on one of two electromagnetic switching devices arranged next to one another, as long as the other switching device is in its switched-on position, the movable parts of the switching devices being able to be coupled to locking members extending from the locking device.

In a known locking device of the type mentioned above (DE-OS 32 13 477), the locking device is provided with a heart-like, axleless rocker in a housing. The locking members are designed here as pin-like parts which extend perpendicular to the plane of movement of the rocker and diametrically apart from one another in the direction of their respective switching devices to be attached. These pin-like parts are guided in a circular arc shape in the recesses provided in the provided rocker movements. The ends of the pin-shaped parts protruding from the housing are inserted through the side walls of the switchgear into grooves of driver links. The housing of the locking device is connected here by means of snap hooks which snap into correspondingly adapted recesses in the switching devices and held on the switching devices.

Hierbei wird die Bautiefe der Schützkombination nachteilig beeinflußt (DE-A-30 11 779).It is also known to provide a locking device with an intermediate housing, which extends over the width of two contactors arranged directly next to one another, instead of a front-mounted switch placed on the contactor with a number of switching contacts, the front-mounted switches being able to be placed on top of the intermediate housing. Here, the depth of the contactor combination is adversely affected (DE-A-30 11 779).

The invention has for its object to improve a locking device of the above type in such a way that coupling to electromagnetic switching devices is possible without special constructive, specific training of the switching devices, the overall depth should not be increased with additional auxiliary switch blocks attached. This is achieved in a simple manner in that the moving parts of the switching devices are the coupling parts for auxiliary switches that can be attached directly to the single auxiliary switch and the locking elements are adapted to these coupling parts, the locking elements being attached in the grid of the coupling parts with a certain surcharge. This makes it possible to place additional retrofittable individual auxiliary switches directly on the contactors, as in a version without mechanical locking. No intermediate housing with intermediate coupling parts is required, with the disadvantage of additional tolerances and wear with regard to the auxiliary switch coupling. It has proven to be advantageous here if the coupling parts are designed like hammer heads and the locking members are slides, the free ends of which run around the hammer head. In order to be able to use the known locking rocker in a simple manner in the locking device according to the invention, it is advantageous if the other ends of the slide are positively coupled to a locking rocker, the tip of which is supported on a locking contour in the housing of the locking device in the event of a lock. In order to be able to couple the housing of the locking device to the housings of the switching devices in a simple manner without having to take any additional measures, it is advantageous if the housing of the locking device is provided with the molded parts adapted to the mounting of the auxiliary switches. If space for a further coupling part is left between two blocking elements, it is possible, for example in the case of a four-pole contactor on which four individual auxiliary switch units can be snapped on, on the one hand two places for individual auxiliary switches with the locking device occupy and only one on the other side, so that two auxiliary switch positions are available on one contactor and three auxiliary switch positions on the other or vice versa. If three auxiliary switch positions are to remain free with both contactors, it is only necessary to fasten the two electromagnetic switching devices on the standard rail at a spacing of the grid from one another. It is hereby also possible, for example, to use the locking device in electromagnetic switchgear of a larger design if the distance of the first auxiliary switch arrangement from the edge of the switchgear is greater than that of smaller contactors. In order to prevent the locking device from being released from the switching devices in the attached state, it is advantageous if the locking device is applied to the moving parts of the switching devices transversely to the direction of movement can be pushed on and coupled and that at least one slide is provided for releasably latching the locking device on the switching devices. A common slide for coupling with fixed parts of the switching devices can advantageously be present here.

FIG 1
FIG 2
FIG 3
FIG 4

FIG 6
An exemplary embodiment according to the invention is described with reference to the drawing. Show it:
FIG. 1
2 shows a side view, partly in section, of a locking device coupled to a switching device,
FIG 2
2 shows a front view, partly in section, of the locking device according to the invention,
FIG 3
2 shows a front view of the locking device which is applied to two electromagnetic switching devices, with space left for two individual auxiliary switch units on the left switching device and three auxiliary switch units on the right switching device,
FIG 4
an arrangement of the electromagnetic switching devices according to FIG 3 at a distance from each other, so that three auxiliary switch positions remain free on both electromagnetic switching devices,

In any case, three auxiliary switch positions remain free for each switching device; adapting the electromagnetic switching devices to the necessary grid dimension of the locking device presents no difficulties, since the electromagnetic switching devices can be moved laterally on a standard mounting rail without difficulty.

The locking device according to the invention consists of the housing 1, in which a spring 3, which is spring-loaded via a spring 2, is spring-loaded against the direction of movement of locking members 4. The locking members 4 are more or less positively coupled via pins 5 formed on the rocker 3, which protrude into recesses 6 of the locking members 4. The locking members 4 are slidably guided in the housing 1 as a locking slide. The rocker is of triangular design and slides past one of the locking slides with the triangular tip 7 at a short distance from correspondingly shaped surfaces 8 of the housing 1, so that the downward movement of the other locking slide 4 is prevented. This device cannot turn on. The locking slide 4 are also equipped with rectangular openings 9 which are open to the free side, so that a hammer head 10 can be largely inserted in a positive manner, which is integrally formed on the contact bridge support 11 of an electromagnetic switching device 12. Coupling arrangements of this type have become known, for example, from DE-GM 88 05 878. The hammer head 10 is adapted to a hammer head-shaped projection 13 on the housing of the electromagnetic switching device 12, which cooperate with corresponding projections 14 on the housing 1 of the locking device. Two hook-shaped lugs 15 on the housing 1 of the locking device engage when moving the locking device into the operating position in a correspondingly shaped recess 16, so that the housing 1 is firmly connected to the housing of the electromagnetic switching device 12 at three points. In order to prevent the locking device from being pushed back, a slide 20 is provided for releasable locking. The slide 20 is displaceable against the force of a spring 17 or resilient plastic tongues to release the hammer head-shaped formation. An inclined surface 18 pushes the slider 20 back against the force of the spring when the locking device is placed on it, until it locks behind the hammer-shaped projection 13. One in the middle between the two Locking members 4, which in the exemplary embodiment are designed as slides, the molded shape 19 provided in the housing 1 is arranged in the grid dimension for the spacing of the individual auxiliary switch locations, as can be seen from FIGS. 3 to 6. This results in the possibility of applying the locking device to two electromagnetic switching devices 12 in the ways shown in FIGS. 3 to 6. In FIG. 3, it is possible to place two auxiliary switch blocks in the left contactor and three auxiliary switch blocks in the right contactor, both electromagnetic switching devices 12 being quite close to one another apart from a short distance. However, if three auxiliary switch blocks are to be applied to both contactors, this can be done according to FIG. 4 in that the two electromagnetic switching devices 12 are attached to the standard mounting rail at a certain distance from one another. The same situation applies to a somewhat larger series of electromagnetic switching devices, as shown in FIG. 5. In the arrangement according to FIG. 3, there is no longer any distance between the two switching devices 12. In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, the locking device can be used with shooters 12 who belong to a larger series. The individual auxiliary switch blocks are located further away from the edge of the switching devices, so that it is always possible to place three auxiliary switch blocks on both electromagnetic switching devices.
