Die Erfindung hat den grossen Vorteil, dass am Anfang und am Ende im Riemchenstreckwerk zwei Klemmflächen vorhanden sind, wobei der Abstand zwischen den beiden Klemmflächen kleiner oder höchstens gleich der Stapelfaserlänge ist. Vor allem bewirkt die zweite Klemmfläche eine enge und präzise Faserführung in das Ausgangswalzenpaar der Riemchenverzugszone. Wichtig ist, dass das erfindungsgemässe Riemchenstreckwerk keinen Anschlag zwischen Riemchenkäfig und dem Führungselement für das Unterriemchen aufweist. Weitere Vorteile der Erfindung folgen aus der nachstehenden Beschreibung. Dort wird die Erfindung anhand eines in den Zeichnungen näher erläuterten Beispieles erklärt. Es zeigt:

Das Führungselement 7 weist in der Berührungszone der beiden Riemchen 6 und 9 eine Stufe 13 auf und eine dem Ausgangswalzenpaar 4,5 zugewandte Kante 14 auf. Das Ende des Oberriemchenkäfigs 10 ist nun vorstehend über der Kante 14 des Führungselementes 7 angeordnet, so dass eine zweite Klemmfläche neben der Klemmlinie zwischen den Walzen 2 und 3 entsteht. Der Abstand zwischen dieser Klemmlinie und der Klemmfläche soll so gewählt werden, dass er kleiner oder höchstens gleich der zu verarbeitenden mittleren Stapelfaserlänge ist. Beide Varianten gewährleisten eine präzise Faserführung, wobei die Variante nach Fig. 1 dafür sorgt, dass das Faserband eher zur Unterwalze 5 und in der Variante nach Fig. 2 eher zur Oberwalze 4 gerichtet ist und durch eine Art Umschlingung um diese Walzen eine zusätzliche Führung erfährt. Das Ende 15 des Oberriemchenkäfigs 10 ist dazu so nahe wie möglich zur unteren Walze 5 (Fig. 1) oder die Kante 14 so nahe wie möglich zur oberen Walze 4 (Fig. 2) des Ausgangswalzenpaares angeordnet. Beide Ausführungsvarianten haben sich ausgezeichnet bewährt, insbesondere für eine Ringspinnmaschine, bei welcher direkt ab dem unverdrehten, Faserband gesponnen wird.
