Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a framed surface element, in particular for facade cladding, a method for producing the surface element and facade cladding produced using the surface element.
Surface elements for facade cladding are known in various versions, both in terms of their structure and in terms of their assembly. Examples of these can be found in GB-A-2 095 318, EP-A-0 282 686 and EP-A-0 301 166. The previously known solutions cannot be applied to the assignment of the surface element to prefabricated complete frames from the point of view of sufficient interlocking between surface element and frame. The complete framing of such surface elements also has an optical aspect, but this also results in extensive edge protection of the surface element during assembly.
Proceeding from the prior art, the primary object of the invention is to facilitate the production of framed surface elements with the objective of a pronounced interlocking between surface element and frame, which is required, in particular, for larger dimensions of such surface elements.
- 1. The parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface element at a distance from the abutting surfaces legs of the frame profile having an L-profile have, starting from their outer edge, a widening at a distance from their transition into the leg abutting against the surface element, into which one recess extending from the outer edge of the leg,
- 2. the abutting surfaces of the surface element designed on the cross section defined by the widened legs of the frame profile - the inside width - of the frame have a recess,
- 3. the free space between the frame legs and the surface element, including the recess in the abutting surfaces of the surface element and the pocket formed in the transition area of the profile legs of the frame profile, is filled with a hardening, adhesive connection with the frame legs on the one hand and with the surface element on the other hand,
- 4. on the leg of the frame profile that runs parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface element, a cover bar is inserted with a web in the recess in the widening of the profile leg, which covers the surface element in the edge area adjacent to the leg.
Here, the surface element can be easily assigned to the prefabricated complete frame, which is not possible according to the prior art. The recess provided in the abutting surfaces of the surface element and the pocket provided in the frame profile result in a connection, which also absorbs large forces, between the surface element and the frame via the free space between the potting element and the filling compound. The cover strips then attached to the frame result in additional securing of the surface element in the frame.
The hook elements provided on the back of the profile leg of the frame leg behind the surface element enable the framed surface elements to be easily suspended in a supporting structure, preferably spars which are attached at intervals to the masonry to be clad and which are provided on the front with receiving slots for the hook elements of the framed surface element . The part of the frame elements forming hook elements are expediently provided with a suitably falling surface.
Each surface element is regularly suspended from two bars. As a rule, two side elements arranged next to one another are then suspended from a spar, whereby the space between the surface elements is bridged by the spar, specifically its front wall. For bridging the surface elements arranged at a distance from one another, webs projecting from the profile legs of the lower and upper frame legs running parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface elements and overlapping one another in the suspended state of the surface elements can be provided, according to a special embodiment, web pairs which are offset with respect to one another alternately forming images, each receiving one of the webs extending from the frame leg of the adjacent surface element.
Especially with the aim of thermal insulation, a sealing strip can be provided between the spar and the adjacent frame legs, which sealing strip can then also be provided with an extension that fits into the gap between the adjacent surface elements and is designed for the width of the gap then can also have a cavity extending over the length of the sealing strip. In the sense of good thermal insulation, sealing cords can furthermore be inserted into the receptacles provided between the horizontal frame legs for a web extending from the other adjacent frame leg.
The areas of the surface elements with which they are supported on the frame legs can also be deposited with sealing strips, as can the areas of the surface elements on which the cover strips are supported. Zen. If self-adhesive sealing strips are used, this is helpful in the manufacture of the framed surface elements.
Overall, with a comparatively low outlay in connection with the production of the framed surface elements and then also in connection with their assembly, a visually appealing facade cladding with a high thermal and then also sound insulation effect can be created.
As far as the process for the production of the new framed flat element is concerned, it is designed in such a way that, if necessary with the prior assignment of sealing strips to the frame legs, the surface element is first placed on the profile legs of the frame legs behind it, the surface element then possibly also compared to the frame legs after prior assignment of sealing strips to the surface element by means of the cover strips which are blasted into the profile legs of the frame legs and extend parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface element, and the cavity between the frame legs and the surface element, which results from the recess in the surface element and the space between the surface element and the composed of profile legs of the frame legs running parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface element, with hardening casting compound, preferably a silicone casting compound, is backfilled. The filling of the cavity can be carried out in an uncomplicated manner by introducing the casting compound via probes inserted into the cavity through bores in the corner regions of the frame.
The framed surface element can of course also be used for other purposes, for example as a screen, whereby it is suspended from the posts or supports that take on the function of the spars. Framed laminated glass panes according to the invention are then also available for window strips and the like. , of course they can also be assigned to frames. Instead of laminated glass panes, other fillings can then also be provided. If thermal insulation is in the foreground, sandwich panels are ideal for this.

The
As for the vertically extending
In the case of the
