Description

The invention relates to a framed surface element, in particular for facade cladding, a method for producing the surface element and facade cladding produced using the surface element.

Surface elements for facade cladding are known in various versions, both in terms of their structure and in terms of their assembly. Examples of these can be found in GB-A-2 095 318, EP-A-0 282 686 and EP-A-0 301 166. The previously known solutions cannot be applied to the assignment of the surface element to prefabricated complete frames from the point of view of sufficient interlocking between surface element and frame. The complete framing of such surface elements also has an optical aspect, but this also results in extensive edge protection of the surface element during assembly.

Proceeding from the prior art, the primary object of the invention is to facilitate the production of framed surface elements with the objective of a pronounced interlocking between surface element and frame, which is required, in particular, for larger dimensions of such surface elements.

According to the invention, the object is achieved with a framed surface element which has the following features:
  • 1. The parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface element at a distance from the abutting surfaces legs of the frame profile having an L-profile have, starting from their outer edge, a widening at a distance from their transition into the leg abutting against the surface element, into which one recess extending from the outer edge of the leg,
  • 2. the abutting surfaces of the surface element designed on the cross section defined by the widened legs of the frame profile - the inside width - of the frame have a recess,
  • 3. the free space between the frame legs and the surface element, including the recess in the abutting surfaces of the surface element and the pocket formed in the transition area of the profile legs of the frame profile, is filled with a hardening, adhesive connection with the frame legs on the one hand and with the surface element on the other hand,
  • 4. on the leg of the frame profile that runs parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface element, a cover bar is inserted with a web in the recess in the widening of the profile leg, which covers the surface element in the edge area adjacent to the leg.

Here, the surface element can be easily assigned to the prefabricated complete frame, which is not possible according to the prior art. The recess provided in the abutting surfaces of the surface element and the pocket provided in the frame profile result in a connection, which also absorbs large forces, between the surface element and the frame via the free space between the potting element and the filling compound. The cover strips then attached to the frame result in additional securing of the surface element in the frame.

The hook elements provided on the back of the profile leg of the frame leg behind the surface element enable the framed surface elements to be easily suspended in a supporting structure, preferably spars which are attached at intervals to the masonry to be clad and which are provided on the front with receiving slots for the hook elements of the framed surface element . The part of the frame elements forming hook elements are expediently provided with a suitably falling surface.

Each surface element is regularly suspended from two bars. As a rule, two side elements arranged next to one another are then suspended from a spar, whereby the space between the surface elements is bridged by the spar, specifically its front wall. For bridging the surface elements arranged at a distance from one another, webs projecting from the profile legs of the lower and upper frame legs running parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface elements and overlapping one another in the suspended state of the surface elements can be provided, according to a special embodiment, web pairs which are offset with respect to one another alternately forming images, each receiving one of the webs extending from the frame leg of the adjacent surface element.

Especially with the aim of thermal insulation, a sealing strip can be provided between the spar and the adjacent frame legs, which sealing strip can then also be provided with an extension that fits into the gap between the adjacent surface elements and is designed for the width of the gap then can also have a cavity extending over the length of the sealing strip. In the sense of good thermal insulation, sealing cords can furthermore be inserted into the receptacles provided between the horizontal frame legs for a web extending from the other adjacent frame leg.

The areas of the surface elements with which they are supported on the frame legs can also be deposited with sealing strips, as can the areas of the surface elements on which the cover strips are supported. Zen. If self-adhesive sealing strips are used, this is helpful in the manufacture of the framed surface elements.

Overall, with a comparatively low outlay in connection with the production of the framed surface elements and then also in connection with their assembly, a visually appealing facade cladding with a high thermal and then also sound insulation effect can be created.

As far as the process for the production of the new framed flat element is concerned, it is designed in such a way that, if necessary with the prior assignment of sealing strips to the frame legs, the surface element is first placed on the profile legs of the frame legs behind it, the surface element then possibly also compared to the frame legs after prior assignment of sealing strips to the surface element by means of the cover strips which are blasted into the profile legs of the frame legs and extend parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface element, and the cavity between the frame legs and the surface element, which results from the recess in the surface element and the space between the surface element and the composed of profile legs of the frame legs running parallel to the abutting surfaces of the surface element, with hardening casting compound, preferably a silicone casting compound, is backfilled. The filling of the cavity can be carried out in an uncomplicated manner by introducing the casting compound via probes inserted into the cavity through bores in the corner regions of the frame.

The framed surface element can of course also be used for other purposes, for example as a screen, whereby it is suspended from the posts or supports that take on the function of the spars. Framed laminated glass panes according to the invention are then also available for window strips and the like. , of course they can also be assigned to frames. Instead of laminated glass panes, other fillings can then also be provided. If thermal insulation is in the foreground, sandwich panels are ideal for this.

An den Holmen 12 werden die Flächenelemente 21 nebeneinander und übereinander abgehängt, und zwar an jeweils zwei benachbarten Holmen 12, wobei an jedem Holm zwei aneinander angrenzende Flächenelemente 21 abgehängt werden.11 denotes an outer wall, the facade 111 of which is to be clad with surface elements according to the invention. For this purpose, in the case shown, a spacer 12 having hat profiles is attached to the wall at the appropriate spacing on the wall elements (121), in the front 122 of which there are receiving slots 123, 123 '(FIG. 4) for hooks located on the rear of the surface elements to be suspended from the bars 12. On the spars 12, the surface elements 21 are suspended next to one another and one above the other, in each case on two adjacent spars 12, two adjacent surface elements 21 being suspended on each spar.

The surface element 31 consists of a frame and the filling enclosed by the frame, in the illustrated case a double glass pane 31, the webs 314 connecting the panes 311 and 312 and hermetically sealing the space 313 between the panes, forming a recess 317 on the abutting surfaces 316 of the Double glass pane are shifted inwards. The double glass pane 31 is bordered - in the following filling - from a frame having an L-profile frame legs 41, 41 ', 41''and41''', which trap the filling 31 with one leg 411 and the other leg 412 at a distance runs parallel to it from the abutting surfaces 316 of the filling 31. The leg 412, which runs parallel to the abutting surfaces 316 of the filling 31, is widened in a projecting manner starting from its end face over a partial region of its width (413). Extending into this widening 413, starting from the end face, is an undercut recess 414 into which the cover strip 417 can be blasted with a web 418 extending from it. In this respect, the frame legs 41, 41 ', 41''and41''' match.

As for the vertically extending frame legs 41 and 41 ', their legs 411 trailing the filling 31 are correspondingly provided on their outside, that is to say on the side facing away from the filling 31, with means for hanging the framed surface element 21. These are hooks 416 molded onto or unclipped from the profile legs 411, with which the surface elements are suspended from the bars 12 forming the supporting structure by inserting the hooks 416 into the receiving slots 123, 123 'provided for this purpose in the bars 12. It is provided on the one hand that each surface element 21 is suspended from two adjacent spars 12 and, on the other hand, two adjacent surface elements 21 are suspended from each spar 12 while leaving a gap X.

In the case of the horizontal frame legs 41 ″ and 41 ″, which extend between the vertical frame legs 41 and 41 ′, the hook elements are not required, but they are designed differently such that the legs 412 ″ running parallel to the abutting surfaces 316 of the filling 31 and 412 '''are provided with web pairs 419, 419' and 420, 420 'which protrude from the outside and form reciprocal receptacles, which are offset from one another, so that when the surface elements 21 to be arranged one above the other are assigned such that inserts a web of one frame leg into the receptacle of the other frame leg, which ensures that the visible surface formed by the surface elements 21 is flat. The height of the webs 419-420 'extending from the horizontal frame legs 41''and41''' and the assignment of the hooks 416 to the vertical ones Frame legs 41 and 41 'and the positioning of the receiving slots 123, 123' in the spars 12 are matched to one another in such a way that the gaps X and X 'which form between adjacent surface elements and between surface elements which are suspended one above the other coincide.

In the sense of good thermal insulation, according to FIG. 6, sealing strips 61 are inserted between the areas of the profile legs 411 of the vertical frame legs 41 and 41 'and the bars 12 adjoining the bars 12 and the bars 12, the sealing strips 61 being inserted into the gap X between the two Surface elements 21 projecting projection 611 are provided, which has a cavity 612 extending over the length of the strip 61. A sealing function is also provided by the webs 419, 419 'and 420, 429' extending from the profile legs 412 '' and 412 '''of the horizontal frame legs 41''and41''' which run parallel to the abutting surfaces of the filling 31. formed recordings inserted sealing cords 62. Heat and sound insulation has a further effect if, as shown, the profile leg 411 trailing the filling 31 is covered with a sealing tape 63 and a sealing tape 64 is inserted between the cover strip 417 and the area of the filling 31 covered by it. If the sealing tapes 63 and 64 are self-adhesive on both sides, this makes it easier to manufacture the framed flat element.

The framed surface element is produced according to the invention in such a way that the profile legs 411 of the frame legs 41 to 41 '' 'are covered with sealing tapes 63 and joined together to form the frame. The filling, in the special case the double glass pane 31, is then inserted into the frame by placing it on the frame legs 411. The cover strips 417 are then attached to the frame legs 412 with the insertion of sealing tapes 64. The remaining cavity between the frame legs and the double glass pane is then filled with hardening silicone casting compound, which results in a permanent adhesive connection between the frame legs 41 - 41 '' 'and double glass pane 31. Filling is carried out by means of probes inserted through the frame legs 41-41 '' ', preferably in the corner areas of the frame, into the space between the frame legs 41-41' '' and the double glass pane.
